How does it compare in your opinion to the solo 3?

Well, we're supposed to keep comparisons out of these device threads (better left for the AskFC threads) but really quick... The S3 does everything the AVLP does a little better (bigger heater, bowl, battery, slightly better taste, easier cleaning) but the S3 isn't that discrete and it usually requires bulkier cooling methods.

The AVLP strengths are that it's quite discrete and portable and doesn't require any additional cooling right out of the box.

check amazon for some pills containers, cheap and perfectly useable and a bit of cotton on bottom will tighten things inside to avoid scratching or noises:

Like the other guy said a pill container or I use pop top tubes and can fit about 12 in each tube.

I'm using a DYI Solution, that fits in my firedog bag together with the avlp.
Basically its a acrylic glass tube with 15mm I'd and some silicone covers.

I fit about 6 capsules in the small zipped envelope that came with my Ryot Slymcase, then tuck the envelope into the inside pocket.

I ended up ordering that one and I like it. You have to stuff a bit in there but it feels like a good fit

They sent me this pic..doesn't seem to be a lot of differences..im sure it's better tho..I liked my pro but I had to take all those screens out in order to get a good hit..I'm sure the pro 2 is gonna kick some butt.

I agree. It looks like it's much easier to clean and should have the same great taste. The door is supposed to be fixed as per the steampunks. Capsules still fit. Easier to read display.

I'm crossing my fingers that the mouthpiece stays in place better and it should be a solid upgrade.

Nice...they didn't change much..I never had a problem cleaning it but a straight shot looks pretty cool..love the wireless charging too..that's a cool feature..

Yeah, I think it's just the silicone cover moving around. I'm really curious to get my hands on one of these next month.

For the AVLP and AVLP2, is the side stitched leather strip just glued on? Could I carefully cut that off and clean the surface underneath?

The lady speaks French so I don’t understand what she’s saying but she wiggles the mouthpiece and it looks loose.
