AirVape Legacy Pro / AVLP 2

Damn Im really bummed on missing the preorder on this one. It definitely looked like a steal, but with just starting a new job and waiting for that 1st check made it not be able to happen.

have a look at the latest posts in this thread, it looks like discount codes are live again but don’t know if everyone’s entitled to use them.

Perhaps you could ask @Gary-Airvape on here? Best of luck…

I've been using my AVLP again recently after having largely shelved it in favor of the Solo3 and now I remember why this was my go-to portable for a couple of years. Still has great taste and vapor production. The capsules are clutch. Good battery life too for such a small footprint. I can get 7-8 capsules out of a fully charged Molicel. I can charge it in my car on the charging pad. It's also pretty durable because it's still going strong over 3 years now.

I'm looking forward to the new model that makes cleaning easier because that was my main gripe.

Do you know if they addressed the problem of the old mouthpiece coming out sometimes? Ususally it could get disconnected if it was loose in your pocket and not in a case.
How does it compare in your opinion to the solo 3?

Well, we're supposed to keep comparisons out of these device threads (better left for the AskFC threads) but really quick... The S3 does everything the AVLP does a little better (bigger heater, bowl, battery, slightly better taste, easier cleaning) but the S3 isn't that discrete and it usually requires bulkier cooling methods.

The AVLP strengths are that it's quite discrete and portable and doesn't require any additional cooling right out of the box.

I had the one AVLP but couldn't resist getting an AVLP2 either. I like to have two vapes, one for general use, and one I keep on my bedside table with a sleepy strain to help me sleep. I've been using a PAX 3 but the PAX has a more restricted airflow than I like. My AVLP will be a much better fit since I also have a wireless charger on my bedside table.

isn’it ALP2 made in China?
Only US customers should be affected, or am I wrong?
Tempest (also made in China) has similar questions about tariffs for US customers
The Tempest is made by a UK company. AFAIK the devices are shipped from China to the UK not USA. So the devices are shipped from the UK. The device should be subject to UK to US tariffs (10%?), not the 158% China tariff.

Airvape is a US company, so they will be stuck with the huge tariffs. Hopefully the whole tariff thing blows up in Trumps face before the ALP2 is actaully ready to ship

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong

Hope so 😂 (last part more than everything)
Brenyo (mad heaters) seems to be positive it is the country of origin (made in) that dictate the tariff rate ..🤷🏻‍♂️
Edit: it is on the thread last page/s
Edit 2: seems logic though, if made in would not count, then it would be very easy to bypass tariffs 🥸

Yea I was hoping to get away from the door hinge cuz mine warped a bit as well
Yea it was a bit annoying

And for those asking how it happened all I remember was some kinda of trick with the gold microdosing plate thing causing pressure on the hinge. It was like two years ago tho so idr
