AirVape Legacy Pro / AVLP 2

Looks like just over $151 to pre-order with a six pack of capsules, including shipping (without the capsules shipping is 14 instead of $10 so might as well try them?) and taxes using the code... So should I finally test this??? Despite vaping herbs much less these days, I would love to do more and get better bud again lol such reasonable pricing!
You should go for it I really loved the original besides the cleaning and the slight warping of the cover/door.
It was a way better experience than I had with my fw9.

thanks, good to hear. I think I'll give it a chance, you only read good things about the previous vaporizer here...
The AVLP did seem to fly under the radar for the most part, but the people who did get it seemed to like it. The only complaints I've really seen are about cleaning it, and a couple mentions of not liking the fabric which is admittedly not a great choice hygiene-wise. I find that the majority of the issues with cleaning are addressed by using the dosing caps, but it is the biggest weak point in my opinion, and looking at the AVLP2, that is no longer an issue.

Some of the hesitation comes from the past and the original Legacy vape, before the Legacy Pro was released. The Legacy wasn't a great vape, so people didn't want to jump on the pro version of that vape.

If you look up the Legacy Pro on reddit you'll see the entire range of opinions on it. It's pretty positive, and most of the negatives look to be resolved with the V2 model.

I am hoping that someone out there is intrepid enough to tear down their AVLP2 so we can get a good look at its internals.

Yeah, I also never heard about it before either but when I looked a bit into it the feedback was mostly positive or very positive, apart from the cleaning, of course. And even that is not als ways mentioned.

So I moved quickly and now I’m pretty hyped. I also went ahead and did order the dosing capsules now along with something else. So I should be ready in two month.

Can’t wait to get more details or maybe even previews in the coming weeks and months.

It seems to be something I did not know I might be missing 😬

Re: Capsules. The ones shipping now are the second version. The first version weren't so great and I remember not liking them for.. reasons. The current versions are really nice. They don't take any of the flavor, and heat up just as quickly as if not using them. While I never had any issues cleaning my AVLP (Im not a heavy vaper), I found the capsules to just be more coinvent all around. My AVLP Steampunk Edition looks brand new to this day. Nothing has really worn or changed colors, or got stained. I didn't *need* a V2. But i really enjoy this line and wanted to support them. At $99, I mean, instabuy for the quality you're getting.

Looking through my receipt for my ALP and ALP SE purchase, there was no shipping fee. Is everyone getting charged shipping now?

You should definitely get one. I finally broke down and got a TM2 PH, with Vgoodiez sale and the missile stem. My first TM device. The OG Legacy turned a lot of people off and rightly so, but the only legitimate complaint about the Pro was the cleaning. As far as performance, nothing under $250 touches it. As much as I love my Venty, I still like the way the ALP finishes a sessions. After 2 minutes or so, say you want to crank up the heat a bit, the Venty just feels hotter. Yes the ALP might char a little at high temps if you don't stir, but I don't get that Bickell tickle with it. I'm still trying to figure out the perfect airflow for high temps on the Venty. It's incredible going through glass, but the ALP is really is my favorite portable. Love the session mode, FatX, P80 and SplinterZ all more capable of a bigger faster on-demand hits. But the versatility, portability, repeatability and the fact that it doesn't combust, all make the ALP fantastic.

Is anyone using anything other than the stock mouthpiece? I lost mine yesterday, sadly, and I'm wondering what options exist (if any). Thanks!

Are you sure the glass tube is the same? It looks a little longer on the new version. I do have the spikey stem and ruby stem for v1. I also love the capsules and have 6 v1 and 12 v2 caps. The v1 caps imo hit harder and didn't need to raise the temp as much, but the threading sucked. The v2 caps I usually up the temp 15°f. They also take a little longer to heat soak to really get big hits. I'm really excited after seeing the video of the v2. Thanks Gary! Edit. Also if you have the v1 pro, a rouge wax works dynavap intercooler fits perfectly in the glass stem for a little added cooling.
