Update on my customer service thread with AirVape. Because of my air leak problem that occurred on arrival, they are sending me a replacement unit once inventory is available. Since I threw out my original box, I will use the box that the replacement device comes in, and they’re helping me out by sending me a return label for an easy return process.

I appreciate how they are going above and beyond for me and my situation, so I decided to order the small proof case to come along with the warranty replacement to show my support.

Looks like Airvape got something sorted. Just got a shipping notice from Shop.com for 1 of 2. The ALP is my wife's daily driver, can't wait to check it out! .... And just got my notice that my second one shipped too ... woohoo!

Thanks. I really hope it isn't a tactic to lock in the sale to prevent people from cancelling.....also, it is USPS...and to be fair, I must say I've rarely ever received anything on the shorter end of the time frame they provided. Additionally, their text updates were pointless because it went from awaiting pickup to usually out for delivery a number of days later with all updates happening across a day or two. Their tracking sucks and is anything but reliable.

Hello, you might be waiting for a while. I have had mine as awaiting pickup message since August 7th. I just emailed AirVape to find out why it has not shipped yet.

I received an email on the 7th saying mine had shipped but the status is currently just label created. I reached out to customer service and they said it will ship once they have the units in stock, so who knows when we'll receive it. I leave for vacation in 2 days and I was really hoping to have the unit for that, so that email was a pretty crappy tease.

I also received a shipment order on the 7th. I emailed Gary about the lack of communication. That being the reason behind my cancelation of my order. I also told him I am a member on this forum and a previous customer. I'm also aware of tariffs, family affairs and emergencies. I feel deceived, if I would have received an email simply stating a delay it would be different. I wouldn't even need a reason and would have waited longer. 🌱😎

I just received my shipment. Out of the box terrible, terrible smell, brings me back to flowermate times.
Box is smelly EVO packaging , probably non cured and the vape itself and the silicone are also not cured . They smell really bad . The finish looks like it is going to attract a lot of dirt , i hoped it would be a smoother one . That fake leather smells worst of all ,but the box and the silicone are also emitting their typical smell, so there is like 3 different sources of robot fart smell and i still havent turned on the device.
It beats my mind how this is compared on par with upper tier vapes as it ,maybe it works good ,but it smells worse then some chinese vapes i have tried out of the box. I will give the device some serious airing out and then consider if i will even try it or just send back for a refund . At least they could have packed the vape in some protection to not be in contact with this smelly glued EVO packaging .I want my vapor to feel clean ,i am not a glue huffer.I am dissapointed regardless of pricetag to receive such vape as it might paperweight if this smell does not go away. End of rant.
P.S Vaporpath hits two silicone plugs/narrowings before it enters the glass tube and they both smell uncured. It could have been easily designed to not be like that ,but i guess they think it in 3 if they care about flavor purity.
Damn it seems like this cork is not glued on my unit edge ,it would peel in no time ,i already see how it is detached out of the box.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that 😭

FWIW, I would give it a go before sending it back. I don't know about the 2, but I think that the AVLP 1 IS a top tier device, so maybe the performance will surprise you? I recently got the roffu and that had similar bad smells on arrival. But once burnt off (took over 10 burnoffs 🥵) it performed like a champ.
