Key question for me is how does it differ to thr TM2, as that is the obvious inspiration. Great price point.
From the specs listed the key differences appear to be the bigger battery and the titanium mesh heater. I'd expect this to go at least as hard as the TM2 and to also be mostly convection. Kinda surprised there's no mention of balls.

When you're trying to build a (mainly) on demand vaporizer, balls don't really make much sense. You want quick heat-up of the convection heater, you don't want to spend time and battery power on heating a big thermal mass. Once the heater is hot, you've taken your hit and released the button, you want no more heat radiating to your bowl.

exactly the way i feel about it, there should be no need for balls -on demand mode, but their session mode might be a good thing. but i'm betting there won't be balls in this unit.

I love my OG as well.
@4-Aces King-High I'm with @seedy53 Yllvape replaced my OG when I had a heating issue that was MY fault! I received the replacement almost immediately.

I'm not dissuading you from your Aerolite VAS, that's one of the few vapes on my near future acquisition list as well(I'll be in touch Scott @VGOODIEZ ) but reach out about your Enhanced unit, they're good peeps!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Will the AEROLITE really compete with the TM2 for $149?

What do we think?
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

I have no way of knowing at this point in time, having used neither of them. But not knowing something never stopped anyone on the internet from posting confidently. So.... YES! LOL (Translation, I hope so. Because I'm gonna want to get one.)

There is no reason that it shouldn't be able too. They aren't using wood or any other unique or exotic material, the tech is pretty tried and true. Nic vapers have been using Ti mesh for decades...literally. It maybe new for yll but not for the industry.

At $150 I think they should be able to compete, that's roffu territory. Beyond the roffu I can't think of many "good" on demand vapes that arnt approaching $300+ ie. TM2(350), fw9 (265 for 1 method, 300 for both) bolee 2(425), bakx(375++), solo3(275+375) I'm sure there are others, but Im mainly talking about ones that can be gotten today.
There is definitely space in the market for a sub $200 on demand vape that rips.

I think there are a couple things to go with that. Loading method is huge in my eyes. When I'm using an on demand device it's usually because I just want to get 3-4 great rips quickly, discreetly, and tasty. I don't wanna have to mess around with packing a bowl of something that is finicky, messy, sticky, and hot. I like to touch my herb as little as possible and use a spoon when at home, so when I'm out and about I want something that is either self contained or dead easy like the straw method used by the TM2. I don't know what the Aerolite method will be but I hope it's a good one. They seem to most other boxes for on demand devices go.

I Have a 100 watt Angus, An Angus enhanced, and the yll 2.0 IH so it's safe to say ill be getting the Aerolite when it comes out.

Ehh not super stoked on the enhanced loading strategy for an on demand. If I have my little spoon then it's a breeze, but if I don't have some sort of implement it's not the easiest/cleanest loading method on the block. I do like all the options for stems then and the compatibility with already owned enhanced glass assesories. I should have realized that considering they are advertising their newer bubbler as cross compatible with AE.

IMO Aerolite will be good value and able to compete at and above its price class for on demand vapes. The YLL team has been developing this vape for the better part of two years or more and have made many improvement as well as learned valuable lessons from their other models during that period.

Recognizing the power hungry needs of an on demand vape, YLL chose not to cut corners and instead upgraded the unit to accommodate a larger power source. Replacing the removable 18650 in the original model to a removable 7100 battery in the current model is a substantial improvement and a big plus for users!

If all goes as planned, the Aerolite could be one of the preferred portable vape buys of early releases in 2025.

But perhaps they also need the larger battery so that the heating element can keep up with the pulls at all.

Let's wait and see, the thing isn't out yet, so we can assume a lot.

their funnel is a breeze for oven loading. or a stash of med grind herb from my storage (traveling) doob tube without funnel. don't understand you saying it's difficult to load and unload
