This sounds interesting, but I am a bit confused, it seems they started to develop this model before beginning work on the Angus enhanced, am I correct? Why the two models?

I'd like to see it have changable side panels, like the orion 2 vape mod:
That would be nice.

They had it in mind, but the develop process had to be stopped since they needed to focus on the Angus enhanced lasts steps and distribution. They also had to stop the desktop one to remake it totally

Could be incorrect here, but my impression was that the Aerolite would be using a different heating technology than a halogen bulb. Probably a inert medal coil of some variety much like other pure convection vapes with purity of air path as a priority.

The advantage of the Aerolite over the Angus series is faster heat ups and on demand/session convection vapor that won't keep cooking your weed ( conduction ) between draws. The challenge for YLL will be to keep the flavor on par with the Angus. If successful, the Aerolite should be a worthy challenger to the status quo especially if it can be delivered at a attractive price.
.
I am trying so hard to wait it out for the Aerolit as a companion to my AE as something more portable. I must refresh this thread twice a day at this point! Lol.
.
Keeping my expectations in check and thinking a early spring release is reasonable. Hoping for an earlier surprise though!:)

I'm very excited to see how the Aerolite will perform in the market. What will be its USP?

This vape has been in development for several years and side lined as other projects like the Angus Enhanced and
BFG Flare IH took priority. Expecting a well thought out and refined offering of a powerful portable convection vape.

IMO YLL's vapes are always good value especially when considered a case and a number of desired accessories are always included. No reason to expect that the Aerolite will be any different. 'Hoping' the last details are being ironed out now and the first test units will be available early in the new year. Very time and resource intensive process to bring a quality vape to the market.

Just ordered one with a 10% off code. First vape related purchase since my Tempest a year ago. Haven't done too bad holding off the VAS for this long 😂
I'll report back when it's here and I've test driven it. Interested to see the difference the 21700 battery makes compared to 18650 in other vapes.

Looks nice and I appreciate using the stem/system of the enhanced. But for everything else it doesn't trigger my vas atm. Any ideas about the size/dimensions? Let's wait for some videos/reviews.

No videos or images yet. It has a shop page but not released. In the moment I know the exact date I will share it here (yllvape told me they expected the full release for the Chinese new year)
Not released yet? There's no mention of that on the product page. In fact, it even says that it will arrive in 8-12 days.
Looks like I'll be asking for a refund and purchasing when it's actually available.
If you speak to them, perhaps ask them to mention it's not available on their online shop.

I'm with you here. The shop reads as if it ships after purchase. Would love some clarification here from YLL.

Been waiting to check this one out myself, but I have a new toy to hold me over until hands on reviews get posted.

This ticks a lot of my boxes:

Convection On demand
Removable battery
21700 battery a big plus.

What concerns me is the same as the angus enhanced, the mouthpiece. If you carry it with the mouthpiece attached its not very portable. If you carry it without a mouthpiece attached you get an exposed bowl stinking up the the place. Also it means you cant carry it loaded, without the stem. This then relegates it to the home portable category, which it kinda limiting.

I get this type of mouthpiece lets you use all sorts of glass and thats cool. However i feel something along the lines of a mouthpiece from the original angus would make it a true portable. I have lots of home portables already.

Perhaps i am wrong about the mouthpiece, but i doubt it. For that reason i am out, but this is one i will keep an eye on to see what the reviews say.

Edit: healthy rips have a good solution which offers a normal mouthpiece and glass attachment mouthpiece. Best of both worlds. Plus the height of a healthy rips vape means carrying with a glass mouthpiece is not an issue. We dont have dimensions but the Aerolite looks quite tall.

I sent an email over to Mike at Yllvape asking for clarification. He confirmed it isn't released yet and refunded me. A bit misleading to have it in the featured products section and with a delivery time of 8-12 days.

He says it's in production and will likely be ready in around a month. I'll wait and see and probably buy again once units are actually available.

Yllvape told me they sent an email to the people who bought it asking if you want a refund or wait, since they forgot to tag it as "out of stock"

They released a silicon "cap" for the enhanced to avoid the smell when you remove the stem. I supposed they will include it on the aerolite

That could work...

My interest has increased. Lets see what the performance is like.
