Hi there, I already own two wonderful portable vapes, the MFLB and the Solo. My vaping materials are primarily flowers with occasional bubble/ice pressed pollen. I prefer the Solo's vapor quality (and bigger hits) to the MFLB (which I really only use for super-stealth situations since I got the Solo). I should also mention I enjoy using the Solo with my water pipe using 18mm gong, I'd say I use it about 50% direct with the straight glass stem, and 50% through the glass pipe with the adapter.
I am looking for a third vape for plug-in home use. My top criteria is clean and intense delivery of the medicine, as switching to 100% vape is a health decision for me.
Can anyone fill me in on the pros and cons of DBV vs SSV vs LSV? My first impulse was DBV because it seems like a solid value, and I like that it can sit unobtrusively on the table with the hands-free whip. However I also think LSV might be a good choice for me, in that it is similar in concept to the Solo (which I really like, but more powerful. I've never owned a whip vape before (only tried it at a friend's house) so I don't fully understand the pros and cons over time. I do like the experience of using my existing glass (it's a good placebo/ritual for keeping me away from combustion) and understand the LSV gets good reviews for vape-bonging, but from the youtube videos I've seen, it seems like LSV is more massive than the Solo (and corded) so doing so would be a clumsy, two-handed, undivided-attention operation? Seems like DBV or SSV could sit on the table connect to a glass pipe by whip and be much more hands-free with less risk of glass breakage; is that true, and if so, does said method deliver good results?
Which of these three devices do you think is best for someone whose primary goal is increasing the firepower of his vape arsenal? I really want a "heavy hitter" because, while I love 15 minute sessions sipping on my MFLB, sometimes I just want a large, quick dose of medicine!
