So i'm wondering what's the max temperature setting when simmering ABV in coconutoil?
I found different results 325°F (160°C) , 200°F (90°C) so i'm not really sure any advice?

You might consider glancing at the thread "Easy ABV Coconut oil"(http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/easy-abv-coconut-oil-recipe-crockpot.4419/), but the general idea is if you keep the oil and ABV in a Mason jar, you can easily and economically keep it at a simmer, (200 degrees F) for 12 or more hours in a crock pot full of water. Of course, every now and then, you need to add more water. Folks find the addition of soy lecithin increases the potency. I don't know the ratio.

I'm curious too. Typically when I make coco oil with regular flower, I simmer with a doublle boiler for several hours and also take the temp up to about 230 for 10 minutes.

Last time I was making ABV oil, I accidentally took the heat up to 300. The treats I made with the oil turned out fine.

I've always wondered what the 'ideal' temperature is, but it's very hard to ever know.

Since you are using reg flowers, you may want to consider reading about decarboxylating. ABV, by its very nature, has been decarboxylized.

It really depends on how you plan to use it. As a cooking oil ingredient in a product baked for 30 minutes or so, I don't think you need to decarboxylate the mj. If you plan to encapsulate it and eat capsules, yeah, I think you got to decarboxylize prior to infusion. At least, that is how I understand it.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:Oh, I know about decarbing, pal . I was raised decarbing...

I typically decarb at about 230 for 25 minutes wrapped airtight in foil, then move the foil to the freezer before opening to allow vapors to recondense.

The point of decarbing is to allow THC-x to be activated so that you can allow the good stuff to bind with the fat in your oil/butter. If you only count on the cooking to decarb, you're going to get far less consistent results especially considering all the variables for baked goods that affect their internal temperature.

I've lately been using my oil to make treats that don't involve cooking to eliminate the variable that is baking in the oven.
