Hi everyone. I've had to have a temporary hiatus on vaping because my asthma's got quite bad recently and I think that was because of vaping a lot. I've had very little experience of edible so didn't know really what to expect. I once tried a cannabis pizza in Cambodia but I can't remember what I felt like. I remember the name of the pizza restaurant though and that was 'happy pizza'. Anyway, since I'm very poor in the kitchen I decided to simply buy some edible capsules and fill them up with ground abv. I was able to do this easily just using my hands. My abv is a golden brown colour and I have loads of it - about 250g on the last weigh in.
I took about 2g yesterday afternoon and I'm still feeling effects 24 hours later. The main reason I vape is because it enhances music quite a lot. Well, this abv changes music very dramatically but I'm not sure whether it's in a good way. It basically slows down the music - very noticeably - but I'm not sure whether it enhances it for me. The effects are slightly similar to having other psychedelics but without any of the euphoria. I get a very slight 'high' I think. I mainly listen to psych pop/rock and prog rock and I'm able to discern the lyrics much much easier than I could sober. It slows TIME down so much, it's very interesting!!
I'd say the other effects of eating abv in capsules are similar to the downside of smoking a lot (not vaporising). I get the couchlock effect without most of the high. I get a big bodyload and it's difficult to physically do anything. In future, I might use capsules with other psychedelics to see how well they go together. I don't use cannabis for medical reasons or to help me sleep but I can see how edibles might help if having it for those sorts of reasons. Edit: It seems to reduce my blood pressure and heart rate quite noticeably - by about 25 points systolic, 10 points diastolic, and pulse by a bit as well!
