USPS updated tracking, I should have the beta in hand before end of day. Not a lot of time tonight to give it a good run, but i should be able to give some first impressions by tomorrow.

Cheers and happy Halloween

So the verdict on this 4MD beta?

Alright. So I have ran a lot of bowls through this so far, and although not what I expected, this is a fun ripper using small loads with easy deep extraction and will likely sit out as my night time desktop for a while.

I thought this would be more of a plug-in Zion. But it is much too powerful to be similar. Certainly not something you would want to constantly rip through a standard straight stem. There is too much heat, this excels through water, or maybe through some cooling of a longer stem. I have liked low temp/flavor hits through the DDave Stems that come with his Arizer/Ditanium kits, still a bit hot still but manageable at lower voltage. Whip is manageable too but still a bit hot. J Hook might be a good move too, haven't tried one.

It extracts the standard small load very well, deeply, rips of hits. Very very even extraction, obviously no stirring needed. Like the video Ryan posted, you really can get some massive rips without barely browning ABV to typical levels. Certainly no hot spots. I have been happy with low voltage, and have not stepped up as much as many others certainly will/would.

Not the plug in direct draw vape I initially thought I was preordering, but a really nice ripper with open airflow that will excel with small amounts. My cannabis hardware baller usually sits out at all times. This is going to replace it for now cause the loads are so much smaller and I can rip at least three from the 4MD vs. one from the baller with heavier effects from the 4MD.

Although i like the low voltages, ill crank her up a bit more and try at higher temps like many of you likely will and report back.

Go Lions.

Thanks, sounds awesome. What's the weight like? Is it comfortable to leave running or do you like to shut it down? I'm looking forward to this one--it looks impressive!

I am bad with weight, would have to throw it on a scale... but shape/weight is substantial enough where it won't topple super easily.

It does take a long time to heat up if im just using low voltage and w/ set and forget low temps. So i have been leaving it on all day while im at home. I would be a little weary leaving it on while im gone in case the cat knocked it down.

I was thinking more of how is using it on a waterpipe; will it tip, etc. Is it similar to a log in weight, for example?

Great! I'd probably do the same. Maybe turn it lower between sessions, etc.

Direct draw is likely only mangable by most with a cooling stem at low voltages

As i said, i have liked the longer DDave stems at low voltages, still a bit hot but managble for me. For those who are more sensitive to hot vapor or on higher voltages, i really think you are going to want to use a watertool

Still been running a lot through the Beta. I really still prefer the lower voltages, even with water. I get really nice effects, and vapor with less browning than most other vapes.

The ABV sortof reminds me of something like a Stickbrick/Daisy when used just right. You will get a big rip or two, and have to check the load. Always weird when you get a few massive rips and everything still looks green.

Thank you for sharing this 👍🏻

What tension do you prefer?
When you finish your session, the abv is still green?
If you increase the voltage is it still possible to produce steam, or is everything already extracted at the voltage you generally use?

This vape intrigues me a lot, and I'm still debating with myself whether I should take the risk of buying one.

Besides, I wonder if potentially this vape could work with this bowl?
This would be a cool option for micro dosing..

That was exactly my first impressions with the Zion back then. Did I combust? How comes it was so dense? And then you look at the load and not a speck of charring, still fresh.

No idea what you mean be tension in this case

When i finish, yes still pretty green. It does lighten up, but not brown

If i increase voltage, yes you can get more vapor but less then you would expect

Voltage will likely vary by heater as they are hand made, and final product may be different but i have been rocking around 7.3 volts. Some of the longer direct draw strems are somewhat manageable for me around that range but still pretty hot vapor and i still think this is a watertool vape.

Not sure about that bowl, but the standard bowl is already pretty small. Dont think you need to buy anything to microdose you would just cover the very bottom of the screen.
