Yes my NicoMod SX350j is done!!!

I should wait till it's here but Nico has given me many pics n videos during different stages. He has been great with communication. All his contact info you see goes straight to his personal cell phone! Not to mention his woodworking talent. Well here are some pics and videos of this baby.

Nice mod bro. And I thought my SXMini was sexy! I'm loving those Yihi SX350J chips. Curious as to what your nickel build is on that bullet RDA. Haven't ventured into building nickel on my RDA's yet.. only on my rebuildable tanks. I see yours @ .22 ohms 410 degrees and I'm just wondering how the vape is on an RDA! More curious to see a pic of the build! Vape on man.

I'm new to this whole scene and I'm still learning. I'll get a pic up when I'm out of work in the morning.

Tbh idk to much about the build, I bought the bullet n the dude built it. I don't think it's nickle either, it's some other low resistance wire. Also I have quite grasped the temp control mode just yet. Setting the joules and temp and all that, it's confusing as fuck.

I'd love some input if anybody is that tech savvy.

Happy to help man. 1st, do not run that unit in Temp mode unless you're sure you have a nickel build on that RDA. Press fire 5x to get into the menu and change joules to power. I also recommend updating the firmware on that chip to get the most out of your battery. Typically single 18650 TC mods like that have battery life issues. The firmware update adds an "eco" mode that has extended my batt life to 3 tanks vs the 1.5 that it was on the old firmware. There is a tutorial on youtube that will show you how to upgrade that.

The chip in that box is so damn sexy.. Seriously top of the line. I recommend the subtank mini, and the pre-build nickel .15 ohm coils for that mod. You can run them safely in TC mode and not worry about the fuss of building. Here is my go to build for the subtank mini, 8 wraps 28g Ni200 spaced, on the RBA deck.

I have the basics down and I have the subtank plus with a couple prebuilt nickle replacements but haven't tried it until my current coil is done.

What I'm unclear with is knowing what to set the joules and temp at with different coils and their resistance.

Also where and what do u reccomend for nickle wire?

As far as im aware joules is a measure of watts / second so ive been using joules as watts basically from what ive seen most people run temps from 380 to 420. Im vaping anywhere from 18 to 25 joules it is all a matter of preference
ive recently started reading about Ti coils more to come on those later!
another quick tip whenever you replace a nickle coil hold tbe up and down for like 3 seconds to lock the resistance only need to do that for Ni coils though
I actually bouyht my nickel locally for kanthal my goto is lightning vapes wire on amazon

It's all good I'm on my phone anyway. I was told to set the resistance with any new coil not just Ni.

I'll just have to play with it more I guess n find my sweet spot.

I'd love to find a real GOOD dry herb atty tho. I saw some dude in the DIY thread has one that looks promising and was supposedly building some to sell but that went quiet.

Sexy mod, man. How do you like that number 5? I fucking love Beard's no. 88 but then again I love thin mints so it makes sense..

I ended up spending about 3 hours at the vape shop talking to the people that worked there about different boxes and I chose an El Cabron mech. mod with the 13 heavens 9 hells rda. Threw two Sony VTC 4's in there as well. They showed me their "house build" which was just a simple dual parallel 26g kanthall wire flavor savor coil build. Fucking obsessed with this thing so far. It's one of those wood grain mods, not quite as sexy as that Nico though.. Lol.

Already can't wait til I need to change my wick and seriously can't wait for my ohm meter to get in so I can start wrapping coils. Shits too much fun.

I'm about to order one of these http://www.vaporbeast.com/lost-vape-tan-v2-ebony-wood-box-mod.html , with the new Kanger Colored Subtanks. I had some money saved up to go on a vacation later this month, but it kind of fell through, so might as well get something nice :)

I also placed an order with Dr. Crimmy earlier this week, I'll have to let you guy's know how they taste, but I'm very excited, I went a bit overboard but the juices I made sound delicious to me:

All of them are 70/30 as though I prefer as much VG as possible, the Kanger Subtanks for me, don't handle the thickest juice as well. I'll get like ejuice sputter up the top and will burn my tongue or the roof of my mouth. Not pleasant at all, and have to be very careful while vaping it lol.

Got Milkshake (Pick 3 flavors: Peanut Butter, Bavarian Creme, Sweet Creme) + extra flavor shots.
Special OPS (Orange, Pineapple, Strawberry) + extra flavor shots and substituted Blood Orange instead of Orange.
DIY Vanilla Custard Base with Banana, Strawberry, Sweet Creme added.

Cost me like $93, but I got 360 ml of E Juice in 3 different flavors. Comparatively, my local juice shop sells 30 ml for $15-$16.....not hard to see how much more bang for your buck Crimmy is.

Been meaning to order from: http://whitelabeljuiceco.com/ as they are also cheap. I saw some...suspect reviews though where people were talking about a peppery nicotine taste, so I've avoided them as of late, but I do mean to try them in time. (It actually looks like they have updated the site a lot since I last checked them a few months back)

I know most of you are into the crazy box mods , i just picked up a kbox a few months ago and liked it allot so i grabbed there sub box mini today and i am going to try 1 of the kanger sub ohm tanks with a .5 coil. I been using a .5 dual coil arctic horizon recently at 25-30 watts and feel i cant really go any higher in the wattage , when i do it doesn't taste as good. Any advice would be great . ty

@Justpassedu i never managed to make the .5 coils taste nearly as good as the .2. If you new subbox can fire down to .2 then that's what you should get. I fire my .2 arctic coils at 60w and the taste is just incredible. But you'll have to do a quick online search to find out hoW low of resistance that mod will fire since I'm at work atm

I just pre ordered the ipv d2 box mod and can't wait for it to arrive. Will fire down to .2 and has temp control. And will be the smallest single 18650 mod on the market I believe. Only $49 to preorder too!

I feel the same way to a degree in regards to the .5 OCC Kanger coils, I vape around 25-35 and anything more kind of tastes shitty.

It does come with that RDA base though, which is pretty cool and I am meaning to try it out.

Actually meant to post this the other day, but anyone with the Kanger Sub Ohm tanks, whether the Nano or the Original or the Extra Large ones, do you guys get "sputter" for lack of a better term? Sometimes, depending on the liquid and the box mod I'm using, the juice seems to pop and shoot up the mouthpiece, and I'll get unpleasant little hot as fuck driplets hitting the roof of my mouth or my tongue. Not pleasant at all and I can't take a big hit when it starts happening as I worry about getting too much sputter.

I seem to have been able to curb it, by switching tanks around on different mods. I bought a black SubOhm Tank to use with my Lost Vape Tan, but at 35 watts it still is sputtering with all of my 70/30 juice. But if I kick 38 watts into it on my Ipv2, seems to minimize it. Was running the Nano at 25/30 on my Kbox and it seemed to sputter a lot, but I run it at 25/30 on my Lost Vape Tan and no sputter....I don't really think the coil has to do much with it, as it happened with fairly fresh coils. Not right away, but within a few hours. It's not an all the time thing either, just when it does start happening, really sucked lol. Happy that I have enough equipment that I was able to kind of off set it without really doing much research.

Got a Tugboat RDA clone from my LVS. I always was running dual coil RDA's and I always was kind of turned off, because so messy, but I loved the taste. This thing is perfect, just one .8 coil in it, I run it on the Kbox and only drip a little bit at a time. Don't know if I was overfilling my coils on my Mutation X and Dark Horse, but this doesn't leak really and tastes really good. Better then the tanks IMO, but much less convenient. They're pretty cheap, I think it was $12 at my LVS and I found them for 9.99 on fasttech.

Shoot and i just ordered the kanger sub box mini with the kanger tank. I didn't even receive it yet , if i would saw the ipv d2 i would have got that instead , that thing looks amazing. I guess i did not really break the bank as i only paid $50 shipped for both the box and tank. I do have a .2 coil that my arctic tank came with but never used it bc the box i have i believe wont fire it, its only a 40w and the the new sub box i just got coming my way i believe is only 50w's so i am not to sure if it will fire it.

Ya if you can afford it the d2(as long as there aren't issues) looks like it's the best mod for the money you can get right now. Been using some temp control coils in my arctic and loving it.

50w is enough to get some solid flavor, I just don't know if the mod can handle a .2 ohm cool.

@HellsWindStaff have you tried the v2 vertical coils on the subtanks? I was having the same issues with the original coils, but the new vertical coils are the shit! Anyone with a subtank needs to get them. Better clouds, way better flavor, handles 30-35 watts like a champ. I can take like 5 10 second drags and have never had a dry hit out of them yet
