100% Decarb With The NOVA

Okay. 1 tablespoon with a shot of coffee. Nice results!

My next trial run (perhaps tomorrow), I'm going to grind the herb and fill the canister!

The smell was minimal, but definitely noticeable. Cycle took approximately 1 hour 40 mins. Gets pretty warm to the touch but not scolding hot... Agreed the build quality would be more assuring with higher quality materials. I'd give 3 stars, but think about cost. Right?...

At $300, if my lift lives for years like some of yall, I'd call it a must buy for those who; need to Decarb, want the efficiency, and those who aren't able to stink up the house freely!

I've also been wondering why no one else has come with another version of this product?!
@johnnyCanuck got mine from herbal café in Toronto. $338 cdn including shipping before taxes + discount code mentioned on the website. Came to $338 total...

If it works as advertised and lasts many, many cooks, i won't complain and will probably purchase another to replace it...

Just tried coupon code on Ardent website. Total would be $200us shipped.

Sent an email asking who they use for shipping as I believe Fedex and UPS automatically charge “duty processing” fees in addition.

Anyone know what carrier they use? I’m hoping USPS? I don’t mind the wait time in shipping if it means I’m saving a nice little chunk of $s.

Or do you think it’s better to just put in an order through Herb Cafe?

Ardent has truly developed into a highly respectable company.

I had a spare Ardent decarb that I purchased in the event one of my three devices decided to bite the dust. The device was over a year old and had never even been removed from the brown packaging it was mailed in. Upon opening the device and plugging it in to begin the first of three test runs. The device would turn on but no heat was being produced. At least when compared to the other units.

In the middle of a frustrated state I hoped online and immediately purchased a new one. I used the widely available coupon to save thirty-percent off and then decided to splurge on the one-week shipping at a ridiculous rate of twenty-five dollars.

During my state of discombobulation my wife decided to email the company confirming that a unit that doesn't heat up is DOA. She explained how the unit was brand new and just removed from the original packaging. Finally asking if there was anything that could be done to save the unit being that it was no longer under warranty.

The support representative replied with their deepest apologies. Then proceeded to refund a considerable amount, almost double the coupon, and then refunded the cost of shipping. No questions asked. They could have washed their hands and instead chose to double down and make sure I was satisfied.

I would pay full price for these devices at a moments notice. I've run enough flower, concentrate, and oil through HPLC testing, at a premium expense, and not a single at home device comes as close to completely converting THC and CBD that Ardent does.

I'm not saying it can't be done differently. I'm saying you can't do it at home with such ease and accuracy as with Ardent products.

Can you share the code? PM is fine if you don't want to make it public.

I must apologize that should have read as thirty-dollars. NOT thirty-percent. The only time they offered such a steep discount was a friends & family event that offered each unit at sixty-dollars off.

Nevertheless. I stand firm in saying this device is worth every single dollar they're charging.

Does anyone know if Ardent or other online stores participate in Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals?

I posted this in the Black Friday Section but thought it might be a good idea to post it in here as well.

For anyone looking for the Ardent Nova Lift:

Vapeworld has it for 20% off.

Discount Code: NOVA20

https://www.vapeworld.com/products/...19776002&_bta_c=dnxrydjp2n6or31b9qymah6inpudk

That brings the price to $168 with free shipping.
Thanks for the response Vital. I guess I neglected to say that I’m in Canada. With the exchange and possible duty slapped on during transit, I don’t think it’s wirth it to order through that route.

How do you put a value on comfort and relief.

Test your raw material. Then decarb it. Test it again. This time to check the amount of THC-a and CDB-a that has been converted.

The higher the accuracy of whichever method you choose to decarb. Will reduce the dosage necessary to achieve the desired level of relief.

Meaning you will quickly recover any amount spent on this device.

If this is truly for medical purposes then the only question should be: why am I hesitating.

That is what I am thinking too. I will try to germinate some and see what happens. I have plenty that are not, but when you seed a plant, it is hard to separate them all out from the plant. Master kush x Blueberry CBD!

Anyone try the Nova against the decarb of the new Levo II?

How are your experiences with infusions on the nova?

My first Nova stunk of sealant or plastic, the smell soaked into the buds.

I emailed Ardent but got no response, so I packed up my Nova and left it under a desk. This spring I screwed some bud by letting them dry too much in the early curing phase, basically stopping the cure.

I took out my Nova ran 1/4 load, it stunk the buds but I got some kick vaporizing the product.

.

I emailed Ardent again, 11 months later, and they responded.

After a few emails back and forth they authorized me to send my Lift back to them for a replacement.

It's been a couple of days and I've got the tracking number.

.

I'll post again when I get my replacement Lift and run a few loads of dry but not cured bud.

I've got almost 2 gallons of dry bud to decarboxylize and 1/2 gallon of grade A trim to run before making honey oil.

I've gotta give Ardent an A+ for customer service, my replacement Lift came in today barely 2 weeks since sending out my old model.

The problem is the silicone cover smells the same as my old one.

If I didn't need decarbing so bad I'd toss this one out and call it a day on my $210.

Does no one at that company have a nose?

I could hardly be more disapointed with Ardent.

I just got an email from Cara at Ardent.

Apparently the foul smell in the cap and sealant is the smell of properly decarbed bud.

I think she's full of shit.

.

Who else bought a Lift because of this thread then found it to be smelly?

.

What alternative is there? I've got a half gallon of trim to turn into something, maybe the Magic butter machine? Anything that makes oil?

Anyone familiar with the Levo II?

.

I have never owned one but I have read post after post complaining about the smell. Try another method. Sous Vide is very nice and not terrible expensive.
