    Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced

I have no connection to Mike or YLL. He asked to use a photo I posted here on the YLL Instagram in March 2023 and I passed along accessory ideas in Nov 2022 (after owning OG for month or so). That is the extent of our communication. Ever. My original purchase was not even thru YLL, I grabbed it...

    Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced

Well, originally I'd said "I stand corrected," but looks like @chillAtGVC (below) came to the same conclusion. Tho it does look like some fiberglass can be lily white after poking around online a bit more. And good point that there may be language issues involved. I'm not giving anyone the...

    Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced

So how certain are we that what is being found in the AE is in fact fiberglass instead of ceramic fiber? The white color is one thing that suggests ceramic fiber instead of fiberglass, which is usually a bit off white if not colored pink (like for home insulation). The thermal properties of...

    Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced

A good response by Verdampft that gives a nice overview of the situation. And YLL is making the right moves in response. From all appearances, any fiberglass even on the early models is isolated from the airflow. Not really clear to me how anyone imagines this fiber from even those early models...

    Camouflet Convector

Oh man, I love my Inductor, and I say that as a Forge owner as well. Both have sold me on high power easily adjustable IHs. The Inductor is frankly the most versatile IH out there. Zooter is amazing, and never thought I'd be able to use an IH on the Lotus. And makes me especially excited for...

    Cloud Connoisseur Glass

But watch out if you call it "China glass." While there are downsides still to it being made in China (long waits, sometimes poor QC), these are still original designs rather than the sort of copycat designs usually associated with the term.

VapBongs have much more of an old school, ripping tubes vibe that you don't get from an OAB, with its narrow neck. And I've been really enjoying that bong feel lately. OAB to me has more of a bubbler vibe to me. And not quite as much of the glorious, wide open airflow that fills your lungs...

The Flower Kettle by Custom Flower Hardware

Might want a dropdown with that lil Rig Jerry. And hmmm, both replies a bit higher temps than I use. Something to fool around with on a Sunday with nothing to do.

    Enso

Yeah, really regret passing on the Enso pre-sale.

The Flower Kettle by Custom Flower Hardware

Jerry, what are your thoughts/experiences on the equalized temp part of what Lee is discussing in his video? And what are you running the Kettle and Electropath at usually yourself? Now that Kettle/Electropath has been out a while, also curious what other folks have settled on for the combo...

    Camouflet Ceramo XL

That's the thing about pre-orders an pre-order prices. Those savings are in exchange for buying sight unseen and with the known possibility of delays since product is not in hand. If that isn't something you are comfortable with, prob better to wait and pay MSRP. Also, Camouflet has been hit...

    Camouflet Ceramo XL

And "personally" is the crucial word here. I find that airflow is very much a personal preference thing. For some folks, logs are the greatest design ever. For others, a log that others love is criticized as "Sipping a milkshake thru a straw" due to its level of restriction. On the other hand...

    Camouflet Ceramo XL

Ahhh, physics. I am also sold on the cooling offered by the zirconia based on my experience with the Zooter. Yeah, I like this approach. I use my Tornado in a dry small 14mm Hickory Glass piece. For the Ceramo XL, I'm thinking my 10mm dry Terplock from Laceface. Can try to add pics later.

    Camouflet Injector

Not that I am aware of. But considering the energy needed to heat up a ball vape, the only likely candidate seems to be the Forge by Vestratto. And that opening (and the opening of any other IH I can think of) is probably too narrow for the Injector to fit. BTW, Inductor is amazing. Freaking...

    Camouflet Ceramo XL

So I am curious if the interior is just cylindrical or is there any internal cooling via fins etc? IIRC there was some of that in the Zooter. Tho probably easier to do that with the clever 2 piece Zooter stem design. Getting very excited.

    Anvil by Vestratto

Sorry, don't keep track of that stuff.

    Tornado by Vestratto

What settings do you hit the Tornado with using the Inductor?
  18. T

    Anvil by Vestratto

Lots of folks using the Wand. I quite like the combination tho probably not getting the most out of the Anvil, which you'd want the Forge for. But still gets the job done nicely, and a better on to go IH option.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Man I love meeting and getting to know glass makers. I think that is why any China glass is reduced to a trickle. And try to keep that to original designs produced in China. Instead of RBR copycats, etc.

    Underdog Log Vapes

Yeah I have an ACXL, and a pretty sweet DV stem collection. But I find that I prefer that metal stem or the metal tip with softer mouthpiece (forget the material). It is a microdoser. But a fucking fantastic microdoser.
