    For wood with a lot of resin. I try to 'burn them out' with a hot XL heater to get rid of most of it. If there's any resin left, it will definitely stick to the heater, but it's not permanent. You can scrub it off. :)

    The heater should not break. The controller can be replaced by any other controller or dimmer that can control the power of the power supply. Its also easy to repair if you know what to do. hope this helps :)

    One more tip for the jammed bowl problem. Let it sit on the heater for 10 seconds normally its resin holding the bowl in position. Take something thin metal and insert it between bowl and stem. Try to pop it out.

    6V is the safe option. You can run it with 12V but be careful that you don't overheat the unit. CL has 5,5x2,5 DC Socket. An adapter does the work if it doesn't fit.
