Yeah you can, the stem gets slightly hotter than the original head, but the heat still isn't bothering me when I do it. Works great though.

All good, I'm no expert, those things you use are decent and I use them myself. But give the cloths a look if you can, they're usually really cheap and last ages, and very handy. It's always good to have lots of options in the armoury/tool cupboard for the creative stuff. Micro mesh is worth a...

I've used those sticks before, yeah they're ok, but they can make a mess of things. The main reason for suggesting the cloths is because you literally can't go wrong with them, it's just a soft cloth with some liquid soaked in it, no aggressive pastes or polishes etc, nothing hard, all you do it...

For those looking at polishing their tempests etc, I know @Brenyo has already posted a video and details of what sandpaper/polishing cream, but if anyone wants a simpler way, look for 'cape cod polishing cloths' - all you do is takes one out the pack, rub it for as long as you like and it'll...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

It's really easy to take it apart, you unscrew the mouthpiece and the stem comes apart, it's a lot easier than the original. The head just comes away from the stem like the old one, so pull it apart, then just unscrew the ball head, from the bowl, dunk the parts in ISO, clean, rinse, job done...

It'll look good for sure. They colour well out the box without doing anything other than giving it a proper clean. Have fun if you decide to do it

If your only doing the flat where the logo is, I'd probably use micro mesh on it, I'd start at the higher more gentle grades, that way it shouldn't alter the logo too much. You can usually get a pack of 9 grades on Amazon, but if you're not going to use them often, it might not be worth buying them.

Mostly convection dominant I believe. I got rid of most of my vapes after I got the T1 other than a couple of Dynavaps. I can't remember what a conduction vape feels like now

It's good, but it still causes me a some irritation if chaining bowls, a little less than with the T2 head though. With the T2 stem, I feel more from my material in one 0.15g T2 bowl, than two 0.075h T1 bowls. I was convinced that the more open stem had something to do with feeling stronger...

The head is better in my opinion. Since I've been comparing them I reach for the T2 now. The T1 is still a great unit, I still love using it, but I'm getting better effects/results out of the new head unit with less material so far in my experience.

Once you've dialled it in you might start to like it more. I think the T1 stem runs cooler than the T2, however, now that I have the T2 head dialled in, I'm doing fewer bowls as I'm getting more out of my materials, so it's actually easier on the throat for that reason, going through less bowls...

Mine feels like it can slide on it a little easier as well, doesn't cause me any issues fitting or removing though. I noticed it with mine too, on the T1 head the screw protrudes above the surface ever so slightly even when tight, could it be that that's gripping the magnet better? It's worn a...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yeah I prefer using the T1 stem, especially for chaining bowls, a week ago I would have said that I'd end up moving to it permanently once I'd had a good go with the new stem but I'm not so sure now. The new stem does cool things down significantly so still reduces any irritation for me, and...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

It's much simpler, the airflow adjustment is on the condenser and is adjustable by turning the heat shield, then the mouthpiece is tightened against the heat shield and it stays wherever it's been set, or you can leave it open and use your finger to cover as needed. It doesn't work loose or...

I'd imagine it'll just be dirt from manufacturing, titanium doesn't corrode like that, as in go brown/rusty. If the marks don't go away after cleaning get in touch with mad heaters, but it should clean up fine.
