I used to have some clear battery wraps from illumn that were very thin (years ago I was a nic vaper and a couple of the wood box mods had really tight compartments and the clear wraps worked perfectly in them). I might grab a 10 pack and try them for this application. The best thing about them...
you can also try sanding down the battery wrap. Its what i finally did with a VCT 6 that was too fat, I lightly sanded the battery (only touching the wrap itself) a bit and now it works just fine. I didnt even really have to sand the bottom wrap end (luckily - Im sure this would lead to the wrap...
I havnt heard the constant ticking. At least its not as loud as the tiny might whine - that thing is soooo loud lol (always made me nervous for some illogical reason)
Well, I have a new IO on the way. I never jumped on the wagon when the Hopper first dropped. Time to make up for some lost time. Any tips/tricks/mandatory accessories?
So Far I have garnered the following tips:
take a clearing puff
don't use the charger (I have a nitecore I4)
dont tamp hard
TIA!
I hear it too 8). Its the sound of the ceramic and metal heating up Im guessing. Kind of sounds the way a coiled wax atomizer sounds when dry-firing to clean.
as a side effect, I have been Pavlov'd and now feel a little extra serotonin being released when I hear it haha
I have a load of VCT-5 that I have been using without issue. The (2) VCT-6 I have are too fat to trust after one got close to being stuck earlier this week. I considered cutting the wrap from the lower 60% of the negative end, but then I would have to relegate those cells to only the FW7
the MTL sipping is what has me most interested. Some friends who aren't normal vapers have issues with my usual convection-based vapes and being able to regulate their inhale for the best results. Plus - I do really like the way conduction vapor feels if that makes any sense (kinda why I love my...
I think something might still be wrong about your unit, just compared to my experience with it. I only take about 10-15 sec inhales (tops) and can easily whitewall my glass piece at 390. I also get around 5-6 loads out of a battery (and I change on 2 vibrations)
Good Luck getting it dialed...
Mine might be coming in today? lol. The USPS tracking says its to be delivered today (but says its late) but that it is still in San Diego (I'm in Florida). I also have informed Delivery (service with USPS that shows images of all the letters that will be delivered today and lists packages being...
wouldn't all the letters, of every annual post (7 by your count) be much less disruption/focusing combined than your one post above?
they also seem pretty benign, to cause such a stir /shrug
I'm not sure, I haunt seen any indication that it isn't included with every unit
edit- of course now that Im looking at my order, I see no indication that it is included (unless its called the service pack - but Im thinking that is probably replacement o-rings and stuff)
