@sickmanfraud I had a look at the Rogue Waxworks dimpled stems. Very nice! I PMed them last Friday to ask how the cooling compared to a stock short stem with the CU. Still awaiting a reply. Sold out now in that size. Disappointing but these things happen. I’m sure there will be more.
Anyone...
I need to contact him. I also bought a vape off him in the last few weeks, been messaging him with no reply. Now I know why. Thankyou @cleeb just PM’ed you. 👍
Lots of mentions of the new rimmed basket screens from TM being suitable for the XL stem, but do they also fit the regular/supplied stems?
Apologies for all what may seem dumb questions, but I’m waiting for my Tinymight to come in and slowly reading through this thread (only got as far as...
Quick question. Probably been asked before. Sorry I did do a search but came up empty handed. Do these RBT domed rim screens made for the Splinter work with a Tinymight?
Hey everyone!
Haven‘t been around for awhile and don‘t really know whats happening with the hopper crew anymore as I just haven’t been following updates. I was a very early adopter of the grasshopper and have two from the first batches sent out, and had the issues with it constantly failing...
Its a tough thing to do but I have decided to let my trusty Zion go.
It functions perfectly and works and heats just fine but it has a minor tear on the internal screen, (shown in pic. below)which doesn’t effect its use in any way. The internal glass is a colour changing violet colour...

I haven't posted videos...
@KeroZen Thx I will give that a try later today. The black on the top of the thumbscrew is just a part of the finish Dan applied to it after hand knurling the sides of the screw. Mine used to cover the top but has worn just on the edges where I grip it leaving the spot you see.
It does help a tiny amount but is not necessary. The Nomad is perfectly usable without the sleeve. The wooden base to the Nomad is part of the paper sleeve and just serves to hide the heater modules and battery and is permanently attached to the sleeve. You can slide the base and sleeve off and...
Starting to develop a patina on the bronze bottom plate and the gold on the sleeve has mellowed somewhat since new. The Nomad has now with some initial expermentation and occasional charring become my daily driver.
I found the learning curve minimal with this being my first unregulated vape, but...
@marduk I did use my Nomad with a screen from a crafty, as a few here recommended it fitted fairly well. At first no issues it even seemed to work better than the double stem screen method. But then after a few more stems, with removing and inserting, the screen eventually became deformed. It...
