@Dan Morrison Will the new in body screen also be basket shaped? The basket would only need to be fairly shallow and inserted upside down to give that few extra mm clearance above the heater.
@wall The air path on the Nomad is wide open. When holding it on its side you can see all the way through to the mouthpiece. No restriction whatsoever. The only way of restricting the airflow would be tamping the material a little but this may cause hotspots or charring. As its a fully...
@Dan Morrison I will give the sandpaper a quick spin in the hole. Thanks Dan. I didn’t want to attempt any alterations until I heard back about a fix.
All minor issues and just teething problems. I am totally happy with my device and it is a wonderful piece.
@namasteIII The button assembly is...
The slip top cover doesn’t sound too bad. But forget the storage idea, its something I feel isn't needed when everyone probably has plenty of storage containers already. I dont want the device made any bigger and feel fine with the way it is and how it was designed rather than sticking on any...
@GreenHopper They have some nice leather items, but I just wanted something plain and simple so I could toss in the Nomad pull the drawstring and stuff into my pocket . Nice pouch though might have a closer look at that one.
@VAPEHUNTER Yeah I have the Burl. I have managed to get the High heat module removed now with just my hands but it was a struggle. And now even cold after leaving it overnight to cool it is very tight to insert and remove. I’m hoping if I just keep putting it in then removing continously for...
Yes I have noticed it and had this issue. Both of mine do this although one of the modules is tighter than the other. One is impossible to remove without waiting for it to cool and then it is still extremely difficult to take out even when cold and takes a fair amount of effort to extract...
Mines arrived in the UK and has been living up to its name already! To get to me, its been on a plane from Canada to the UK then on a truck then on another plane then onto a boat to finally get to me here today on the island. Nomadic by name and nature!
Unfortunately unlike @KeroZen I got stung...
@Dan Morrison I now want a custom blackwood screen loading/unloading stick with ringed screen depth indicators and lichen button inlay to the end :brow:
Haha ok Because I thought exactly as Dan has listed in his guide. I just assumed the lesser amount of coils and thickness the hotter the heater. But I believe whatever Dan says as physics and electrics etc were never a favourite subject of mine whilst I was in education :ugh:
My Nomad has been...
I’ve just added a Magic Flight Orbiter to the glassware collection. Should pair lovingly and look great with the Nomad. They will live in peace and harmony as one :peace::leaf:
@axakal It is a shame the Okin is no longer produced but @Dan Morrison has a new equally beautiful handcrafted battery vape called the Nomad. Check out the thread here if you haven’t already: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-nomad-from-morwood.21143/
