just got one of these and really like it. much easier draw than my older air and solo

I've been having problems maintaining temp on red. A second or 2 into each hit it starts blinking and I'm not getting solid hits. Do I need to send it in?

my roommate keeps wanting us to use this for our sessions, but i don't like it. you have to wait for it to heat up in between hits, am i wrong for thinking this is just for solo use? is it built to be used for multiple runs, like after it auto-offs, running it again immediately? seems bad

From what I discerned from my search, the initial charge on this is not as long because it's 1 cell, but I couldn't find if it still needed a long first charge. Do I need to charge it for awhile longer than a normal charge on the first charge ? How long?
