OF, during your subsequent tests, could you try pressing the settings button, then the down button? I think that this (turning off the heating element, but not the LED display) shows the "true" temperature of the unit. Can you compare this temperature to the one from your sensor? Thanks!

Question - how bad is it for the battery using the ascent with the charger plugged in? Does it induce mini charge cycles? Is there definitely no hope for a PA that bypasses the battery? Btw, like V&C, I seem to be one of the few that have a well functioning stealth unit.

I've also been having a good experience with my stealth. The only issue is the blemished LED cover, and the battery indicator running low during use and not showing the actual battery levels. For example, my battery will drop to zero during use, but actually have a third left, confirmed on reboot.

Hey DV, a couple of us in California haven't seen any movement on our tracking numbers since yesterday, nothing beyond electronic info received, or that USPS even has them in hand. Did every order that got a tracking number yesterday definitely physically ship out?

Phoned DV again - no new info, of course. Not even a window of possibility - days, weeks, months, unknown. In fact, they didn't even know about the promised freebies for "customs-delayed" orders. Absolutely nothing to go on to make an informed decision of whether or not to get off this...

A little more follow-up would have been nice - details on the delay any sort of educated estimate of clearance OG DV vs. current situation etc. Is FC the medium of being more responsive to customer concerns?

In this regard, is there anyway to provide an estimate of completion based on communications with the holding entity? Most of us have funds tied up in this pre-order, and such info would truly help us make an educated decision on how to proceed. Thanks again.

V&C, I think that's the same guy who was taking calls and names yesterday. He did mention two weeks, but only as a personal rough estimate. Did he seem more confident about that this time around? Any other info? Thanks. I can't believe info is this difficult to come by.

Their Facebook page is cringeworthy to say the least. In a "let them eat cake" kind of way. The info from that Jose guy about the customs is interesting, though... I wonder if he's one of us on FC?

This is probably the best idea. This, and putting pressure on DaVinci to be more communicative with details and updates regarding the situation. Here's to hoping that this is *the* week.
