Yeah, the bag material does suck. There is a post on the VapeNow blog about changing it over to a Volcano bag.
The have been talking about the new pump for even longer than a year. I think they ran into problems because the faster pump speed affected the calibration of the heating element. A...
I've done pretty extensive testing with the Volcano Digit and it is always within +/- 5*F of the temp stated on the display. I don't think the herbalAire or the Extreme are as accurate. The Extreme's display jumps around, which is normal for an electronic temp reader. The Volcano's display...
Arizer can take a day or two to answer your emails, but it will be answered. If you haven't heard from them in awhile drop me a line and I can get in touch with them.
I know VapeNow has them in stock. They warehouse and ship with Amazon, so you can verify that they have extreme stock here...
Yeah the HAire would take a while to fill up that 10 footer. I wouldn't recommend it. Do you find that the herbalAire bag material is a pain in the @$$? It is so brittle...
HAire says they are coming out with a new pump, but they've been saying that for about a year now.
What's the 22...
The Aromed uses a halogen bulb -- you may want to check it out.
Just type homemade vaporizer instructions into google and you will get a lot. Heat guns are the best method, but soldering irons can work too...
Yeah, Arizer is holding resellers to high levels of customer service. One annoying thing about their returns process is they ask resellers to ask customers to get in touch with Arizer and sometimes the customer wants to deal with the reseller/is confused why they get referred.
I don't let my vapor sit around. I generally take it down in a minute or two.
1 filling chamber on the Volcano will give you 10 ft of vapor.
And thanks for being a hater.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to these replies -- on vacation in Maine for the week.
Doesn't seem like many of you think I'm onto something:/, but that's all good because I'm enjoying the empirical results myself.
You do waste vapor when you change bags, you can't argue that point. So...
I used my vaped leftovers for brownies. 10+ grams will make a nice pan. I especially like them for airplane trips because of 2 reasons:
1) I've taken them through security time and time again, but they're just brownies right?
2) They allow me to go to sleep so easily. I think this is...
I chuckled when I came across this post because I've been thinking about tobacco vaporization for awhile and finally tried it out the other month. I'm not sure I would recommend it, but it was definitely an interesting experience.
Some background: I used to smoke cigs 4 years ago, but quit...
I'd agree with the coffee grinder. I've used all types of grinders -- space cases, acrylic, and electric -- and in my opinion a $10 coffee grinder is really the way to go. It will generate the most surface area and is the easiest to get the herb out of.:)
