Just looked through the site at all the options! So many! I tried to cut down my options but after spending about an hour and a half going through the whole catalog I was able to narrow my choices down to 8. If you get a chance Dan it would be greatly appreciated if you can mock these up...
This looks like a very nice butane powered vape! It's also very refreshing to see the company directly involved with this forum. It adds a nice touch to the level of customer service and I appreciate you guys doing this.
@Dreamwood I did have a question to ask regarding exotic woods. I saw you...
Thanks for the update @Vivant , there must have been some sort of miscommunication from the PIU team because I was definitely told that they had the "v3" mouthpieces. The guys over there are very stand up people though and I'm sure there must have just been some sort of communication error...
I just posted this in another forum and I figured I'd post it here also for visibility. It's regarding the newest iteration of the mouthpiece:
Just got an email from Jake over at PIU. He informed me they received stock of the new new "v3" topcaps and that they are supposedly better than the...
Damn this stem's bowl is gonna be huuuuge!
Jokes aside sounds very promising, can't wait to try and experiment with the different heaters and see the different results.
I've just been doing some catching up on this thread and I must say I am feeling great about this. Things seem like they are finally all falling into place for you Dan and I am very happy for you! I already have one D.M Pipe Morwood vaporizer and I just cannot wait to have the next and best from...
Hey guys so I seemed to have fixed my little issue here. I was able to fix it by some miracle. What I did was I heated the cap like 10 seconds past the heating time, and while it was still HOT I threw it in a vise grip and went at it with some pliers. Thankfully one real good tug at it while it...
So I seem to have run into a little issue with my Omni that I just can't fix! Stupid me dropped it on the floor this morning, and since it fell I have been unable to get the cap off the tip. I've tried heating it to remove it, I've tried getting a thin knife in between the cap and the tip to try...
My favorite glass piece for my logs is pretty much my favorite piece for all my units!
No water? No problem!
STEAMROLLERRRRRR
*please excuse the dirty glass.
This sounds to be my exact same situation in a nutshell. Picked my unit up about six or seven months ago and just this week I have started to notice the buzzing. It seems to be operating normally though otherwise so I'll just try to not think of it
So I think I might have a little problem with my MiniVap, but I figured I'd ask around here to see if anyone's had a similar issue before I contact MV support. The unit itself seems to be working fine but whenever the unit is now on it seems to produce a low electrical buzzing sound constantly...
@t-dub thank you very much for that detailed explanation. As of now I'm not quite sure if a patina was applied or not, although I might be able to find out if I shoot dynavap an email. For the time being though I think I'll take the road of caution! Thanks again!
Hey @t-dub I had a quick question to ask about using PBW to clean a vapcap stem made from Mokume if you don't mind and maybe might know. I've recently started using it to clean all my glass but all this talk of stripping the finishes off of grinders makes me not sure if I want to try using it on...
I don't think using *that* vaporizer is a very good representation of the pod system. I had an Air One and all I remember from using it was all the vapor that leaked out from it.
If we're going to look at pod chambers from my experience I think the minivap flexicone baskets are the best design...
Another thing I think that increases taste with glass stems for log vapes in general is to sometimes turn the heat up but place the screen further into the stem away from the heatsource. I don't know if it actually does anything or I just think that it does but it seems to work well for me.
Here's my vote. Since Dan is talking about having the heater element cores all different and stuff why don't we stick with something simple....
