Looks interesting @turk ! The only worrying thing I see is it doesn't seem like it has an extra chamber to catch any excess water that might have the chance to fall back into the vape like you see with the vapexhale hydratubes. I'm sure herbalizer did their homework and it probably has a low...
Although you didn't ask me this at all I figure I'll piggyback on this one here.
To me the WS offers a slight advantage in regards to flavor, and I believe offers straight convection versus the VC conduction heating.
I still prefer using the cap with the torch when going through water, as I...
Says in stock when I check it.
Wonder if they're selling the glass core or teflon core, and whether or not it's one of the quick heat units or not. I can't find any specifications on the website.
EDIT: Nevermind @Cheesequake is correct. Sorry about that. Said in stock on the page but said it...
Yes I use my WS literally every single day! I mainly use it in the mornings and afternoons as it works great for micro-dosing. I find I don't need to use water with it as long as I don't push it anything past 12v but the water definitely helps smooth the hit down. It really is a great little log...
+1 to this. The herbalizer provides hands down the coolest vapor profile out of my many vapes. Also with the WPA from @Ratchett you can pair it with a hydratube and it just makes everything pure ecstasy.
@Dan Morrison I had a grinder years ago that I think does what you are referencing. I don't have it anymore or remember the brand(I think it might have been a spacecase? not sure.) but it was a normal looking metal grinder that had five pieces instead of the normal four. There were two...
Got a sweet package in the mail today
Ancient Bog Oak WS stem with an African Blackwood MP and tip and aluminum accents:
Killer worksmanship as always Piggie! I'm sure that between my VC and my WS these stems will be one of the most used accessories in my collection!
Just got home and saw I got an email from Dan about my Nomad. Yay! He gave me the final price for the unit and showed me a mock-up of what the final one's going to be like.
I can't wait until I finally see it in person!
If I remember correctly Dan said we'd have to make our payment by the 21st correct?
Has anyone else on the list of 25 gotten an invoice yet? I hope Dan hasn't forgotten about me!
I always thought the reason we avoided ISO(other than the wood) was because ISO is extremely flammable and with the VC being a butane vape it's considered an unnecessary risk
Can't believe I haven't seen this thread until today!
@josephleone very nice review! I see that it uses a halogen lamp to heat up, which sounds very nice. The only other two vaporizers I know of that use this type of heating are the Apollo and the Herbalizer.
I know you mentioned heat up time...
The simplest way to explain it would be it's a 510 mod with no chip to regulate anything. It's just normally a tube with a fire button and a 510 connector and the power it draws comes directly from the battery. Just think of it like your regular box mod but with no buttons or watt control. The...
Very nice video @IAmKrazy2 . Looks like you can get some very nice clouds out of this thing.
I do say I am a little curious on whether or not this device would work with mech mods or if it would just combust the bowl right off the bat. Are there any beta testers out there that own a mech mod...
I just got an email! Rest assured I will have my finger on that email clicker button right at 8:00 on the dot this tuesday! So to all my fellow Combustion Fuckers over here I now have to say this to you,
MAY THE MAN(or woman) WITH THE FASTEST HANDS WIN
Well either that or may whoever is...
My inner monologue right now:
Please be on the list please be on the list please be on the list
For real though congratulations on making it to this stage Dan! Here's to the hopes of this vaporizer not only matching but surpassing the expectations you laid upon us with your first wonderful...
If your set on 14mm it would be really easy to mod it to take 14mm stems. All you need is an 18mm female to 14mm female adapter like this:
After that as long as you have a 14mm stem for your herb it should be good to go.
To say it short and sweet these mods all run off of Ohm's law, which is I(current, or amps)=V(voltage, or watts)/R(resistance). Which is to say voltage still plays a big part in how these mods work, but there are more factors in play than voltage when determining how these mods perform.
If you...
