We'll have to get my HN-01 together with your HN-02 since we're both in Chicago. I would love to try your Obsidian surface on your liger. I'm always paranoid with my sapphire.
Porcelain is just highly refined ceramic with uniform consistency. I bet it's a little easier to print with and it can be stronger than ceramic if done correctly.
I'm pretty sure there's no way in hell that this company, or their clients, would accept any sort of lead in the air path. The baskets I have look welded, not soldered, and the rims are crimped.
I finally broke down and bought Dark Crystal to clean my sapphire insert and halo. I can soak it overnight and it comes out glowing and clean. I speed up the process sometimes by setting the glass on a coffee warmer. The black grime just floats to the top.
I have a Bates external and a Grav Labs internal. I like the extra height of the external, so it's my daily driver. The height does make it feel a little more tip prone and I worry about it. I also like that it tends to stay a bit cleaner. My external also has a vertical joint, so it's a lot...
So my parts are in and they are RIPPING! I had a 20mm post with a SiC dish on top. It was really good, but I hated how small the dab gap was. I upgraded to the D-Nail wrap around for my 20mm. I also added a coil cover. The coil cover was a tight fit to my coil. I had to basically press the...
I just got my extra parts in at work. The mail lady was upset that the box was pretty mangled, but everything came in perfect condition. I love beautiful titanium. Now I just have to finish this code push so I can go home and experiment with my sapphire Halo and FlowerPot.
I just ordered a coil cover, D-Nail wrap around base, an 18mm bowl and a handle for my coil. I just had to complete my setup a bit and I have a sapphire Halo just waiting to be used.
Could this be made to Liger 30mm flat coil dish specs? I have a SiC or Quartz dish I'd be willing to loan you to prototype with. I'd be a little worried about the insert falling out while hot. The Liger's air tube holds it in the bucket so you don't have to worry.
It's so much smaller and lighter. I have a tiny bubbler that I just put the flip on. The Jr I have would tip it right over. The bowl seems a little less designed because the stainless ring is gone and there's only one magnet so it can be out of alignment. My Jr seems like it's much more rigid...
