Oh, I vape mine, so I'm not worried about the smoking smell. The water I used didn't have chlorine in it, so there wasn't a flavor from the water. After it was dried, most of the water was gone, of course.

Ok, so I tried scissors instead of grinding. It was fine, but it reminded me too much of trimming. I've got a silicone grinder, called Chube. It's ok. Not real consistent, as some stuff gets practically powdered, and some not, but I suspect it's user error and will try again.
