A D020-D I received yesterday from sunshinestore:
Exactly 7 calendar days from despatch to delivery.
And they agreed to swap the accessories (bowl etc.) for a set of (5x) 18-14mm reducers as I only want the bubbler to use with my vapes :)
I've not spotted any bubbles in the glass and it seems...
lol, I didn't manage to get one of the pads apart cleanly either.
I've only ever tried a full pad once, but thought it tasted a bit metallic.
Have you tried sandwiching between some flowers or using some cotton?
I'm afraid I've not even looked into spare o-rings for my Mighty yet, but previously I've purchased most of my nitrile & viton rings from a UK seller called sealforce on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sealforce53/m.html?
When I first purchased mine, I wasn't very happy with it and wasn't...
lol, don't worry.. I messaged sunshinestore before purchasing to arrange a swap of the bowl etc. (as I won't be using/needing them) for the 18-14mm adapters for the same price.
Originally I just asked if they could add 2 to my order, but after discussing, they agreed to leave the...
There would be a little more there, but I keep dipping into it, lol
That's from some critical kush and BLZ flowers, occasionally a little keif added.
I'm finding I'm getting approximately double the amount of bowls per charge when vaping through water as I'm clearing them in half the time...
The small piece of silicone tube on the end, inserted into the bowl of my old glass bong creates a seal and works quite well imho.
I managed to scrape this out of my Mighty so far (shown with a 5 pence coin for scale :P)
Sure, I've only got my crappy phone cam but I'll try to take one when I get home from work this evening
edit: I ordered the original J B Weld from amazon.co.uk
The product page states that it should be good up to 550F when fully cured...
Look forward to your thoughts on the cheap cases :)
I've been thinking about getting a Vapecase from Vapo Shop:
https://www.vaposhop.com/vaporizer_accessoires/vaporizer-cases/vapecase-mighty/
I like the fact that it has hinged locking clips and it's the cheapest I've found it so far.
Hi...
Congrats emmdeemo :)
What piece did you buy?
I broke my dhgate cherry yesterday by ordering from sunshinestore too
I ordered a D020-D and they agreed to swap the bowl etc. for some 18-14mm adapters.
Woke up to a shipped notification today :)
As far as I know, apart from all the different bubblers, there aren't really many accessories for the Mighty.
I'd definitely get a Vapecase if planning on doing any travelling, maybe a spare charger.
I know I said I didn't want to clutter my desk with glass, but I've just ordered a D020-D from sunshinestore on DHGate to try with my Mighty. :p
I messaged before purchasing and they agreed to swap the bowl etc. (as I'll never use them), for a couple of 18-14mm adapters instead :)
So you now think @VapeFiend.com are dodgy and sold you a non genuine unit?
FYI Vapefiend have a pretty good rep around here and are authorized sellers of S&B.
I bought both my Air and my Mighty from Vapefiend, both devices have zero issues and I found the customer service to be really good...
Thanks for posting mightyhigh.
I'd been considering getting the 60mm version as I love the threadless design, chunky grips and changeable screens.. Not so sure now lol
Hi Roth :)
I was going to suggest the same thing, but as Toodles is in the UK and wants to keep costs as low as possible, I figured the added expense of shipping from the USA was unnecessary.
I think with exchange rates though, it may work out to be a similar cost :)
You could always get an adapter for the standard cooling unit/mouthpiece from NamasteVapes instead:
http://www.namastevapes.co.uk/collections/nv-accessories/products/crafty-mighty-18mm-adapter
The vapour might be a little thinner/cooler after passing through the cooling unit, but there's no DIY...
Hi Toodles, what sort of budget do you have?
I was contemplating just getting a cheap D020 from dhgate for less than £15..
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/d020-bubbler-hand-blown-glass-vase-perc-water/175832535.html
(Or if you prefer not to wait a week or so, the same thing on ebay.co.uk is...
Hi Vapetrees, the glass stem I received wasn't hard to close, it just needs pushing back in after being turned.
I found mine to be much more restrictive than the stock mouthpiece as the point where the neck was joined had narrowed during manufacture. I've now used a small diamond grinding bit...
Sorry :(
Fingers crossed it's just this one.
If I look into the neck, where it joins to the main mouthpiece part it seems to narrow slightly.
[edit]
The neck starts out at over 3mm (I can wiggle a 3mm screwdriver), but narrows to 2-2.4mm at the join.
