I have a cheap PNWT thing too and also think it's a bit crap, lol I bought a D020-D from sunshinestore instead and think it's great at reducing the throat irritation (though I always keep a cool drink of water or juice nearby as well these days). I rarely use my vapes without it now.

I've just been sandwiching it with herb/flowers, sometimes mixing it with kief beforehand so I can handle it. I haven't bothered using ISO on my CU yet (only the screen), I've just been scraping the excess out.

Oh dear, there certainly seems to be some quality control issues. The original cooling unit on my Mighty is great with zero leakage when covering the screen with my thumb and sucking. After reading about the leaky cooling units on here I thought I'd check the spare in the wear&tear kit I ordered...
