@almost there On a purely user level: I'm good with a torch, but the IH seems to be better. Very even roasting and very even ABV with great extraction. But I've only been at this for less than 90 days. Closer to 60 with DV in general. I also like that there's no piezo click and butane hiss...

I am in love with my @Pipes Portside. This little guy is my new best friend and will go everywhere with me. Thanks again @mephisto I love the quiet. I really don't miss the piezo click and hiss-nor do my cats. My hands, which are a problem for me, are even happier. And the extraction is...

@Mr.Sifter Not hard. The weight of your arm is probably sufficient; drop the tip in with a light grip, relax your arm from the shoulder and let gravity take over. I have tendonitis in both hands-the IH is a godsend to me. I was doing okay with the torches, but this is really 'it' for me. I...

    Dynavap VapCap

@mephisto Many thanks brother. The Portside arrived today safe and sound. It took me a while to figure out the right 4 screws, but once I did the battery installation and initial use was quite easy. @Pipes You are a wizard. Kudos! Now...where did that to-do list go? EDIT: 15 minutes later...

    Discontinued Ghost MV1

@shaolinmilk it would be a really easy thing to have some dry herb handy. You know those silica gel packs that come in meds? Put one of those in a glass jar with a day or two worth of material and seal it well over night. Voila! And, I'm sure you already know this, but ALL vaporizers work...

    Dynavap VapCap

I plan on it. I also plan on gifting it to someone else as soon as I can afford a Dynavap one of my very own. Gotta pay it forward, and I know there will be someone on this thread who's way more deserving than I.

@Dynavaper Take a deep medicated breath. Patience dear man. Of course I can say that because @mephisto graciously gifted my a Portside that arrives later today.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Dynavap VapCap

@Dynavaper I couldn't agree more and second your motion. I am amazed at the clouds. I use a single flame torch, aim it at the digger-outer end of the cap and get two enormous hits from the .025 screen setting. And I don't know about you, but the downstem in my WP is collecting the nicest...

    Dynavap VapCap

Thanks @Squiby. I want to inve$t in as much Dynavap-made material as I can before I go to the aftermarket. So at least a few more bodies and stems, tips and caps. But I will be going to the aftermarket later this year. I'm still relatively new to VC world so I want to spend some time with it...

    Dynavap VapCap

@VapCap @Dynavaper's post above almost begs a question. What about a short standard condenser coupled with a carb-less Vong? I don't know how that would affect product flow on the factory floor, but it would involve using 17mm less of SS, as well as saving a step (I assume) in the making of the...

    Dynavap VapCap

@Dynavaper thanks that's great news. I wanted to do that with my Vong but I've only got an Omni condenser. Cuz you're right. Who needs the carb with a water tool? Not me. Sweet. Now I only need a cap and a standard condenser and I'll have three full VCs: Carbon Fiber Omni XL, Cocobolo Vong...

@Dynavaper what kind of condenser do you have in the body of the Vong on the far right?

    Discontinued Ghost MV1

@lazylathe There's the way things are, and then there's the way you want things to be. The distance between those two points measures your discomfort. Maybe selling the MV1 to someone who doesn't mind drying the herb would be a solution for you? BTW, that person wouldn't be me. But I've found...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

@Masacr you may want to leave the world of plastic vaporizers behind and look at devices like the Milaana or the Vapcap from Dynavap. Those are the two that have really sold me on vaporizing vs. combustion as their vapor tastes best, smells best, and hits the hardest of anything I've tried...

    Dynavap VapCap

That, the fact that it's flammable, and just the nasty smell of ISO is what turned me to the PBW. And I am so impressed with how easily it cleans and rinses. I use it on glass too and I was blown away. It's also handy in the kitchen too. Maybe some of my friends who still combust can find a...

    Dynavap VapCap

@namasteIII You will be wise indeed if you read through @Squiby's threads on Vapcaps that are in her signature. She is the Dynavap Whisperer in these here parts. Here VC threads should be required reading for any newbie to the Vapcap. The only change I've adopted in my cleaning is that I no...

    Dynavap VapCap

@Squiby You are not alone in your affliction. I got my first Vapcap in December, and now have 2+, and have already given away an M. I have the makings for another in my shopping cart, and have ideas for a couple of others I'd like to put together. It's fun to Lego-Ize. It would appear it's...
