awesome news Cheese :D I had some hopes about that, why I chose it over the other styles with the dewar top. I am fond of showerhead percs though so I might go back for that showerhead for $23 soon, while it's still up.

yeah I expect it to take a while. They say 25 days delivery time... so... most things I've ordered from china end up taking at least 2 weeks or longer. I'll just be happy if it's functional and in one piece.

I've recently taken a liking to using the HI+ Wong/SS tip for hash, bubble and scissor. I'm breaking it up into crumbles before loading it, using the $40 pipesdady bub to cool it. Been a great combo! :tup:

you can warm it, hit it, put it down, no problem there... your load will get toasted a bit, but I do that with mine. You don't have to run the entire load at once, it just works more efficiently after it's warmed up. And you can also put small loads in the Firewood. The VG does want a bit more...

yeah firewood takes at good 20-30 sec to heat up and get going, but once it's warm it's a heavy hitter. Reminds me of waiting for the thermovape gear to warm up... it's an excellent little vaporizer though and they have that special price going on the walnut right now...

well, that has a male end, and you will need a pretty deep female adapter to put on the end of that. The sub downstem is designed to go into a female stem, and is about 2 1/2" long from where it connects to the glass.

Been getting HI all day today! Also been brainstorming on a battery pack for this thing so it can be somewhat portable. I just love how light weight and small the body is, fits so well with my travel pieces. I can only imagine how streamline the newer ones are, they look tiny!!! Still rockin'...
