I'll usually get one click when I'm refilling the bowl, and it'll click back again once when reheating a bowl. The other takes longer to click on cool down, probably 3/4 minutes, and that's in a cooling stand, it takes so long than the rest of the head is barely warm at that point.
I don't...
I was using the 3mm over the weekend. I was getting a bit of a tickle in the throat with them. I was trying them back to back against another with 2.5mm and I felt it was noticeable, but I do have sensitivity issues in the throat so maybe for others that wont be an issue, the roast was still...
As gnarlyvandal said that's far too deep. Heating the bowl is kind of defeating the purpose of having the balls.
As far as beta goes, I've had mine since November so that's probably not going to make a difference.
When you cleaned the balls did you do a ball count?
I emptied my pre-release...
Sorry if it feels like things are being repeated, but it doesn't make any sense so might be worth starting from scratch.
If you have a glass adapter use that and run it through water, then any issue of the stem being blocked etc can be discarded.
I set my airflow in the head like this, it's...
Might be how hard you're inhaling on it.
If you're inhaling quite hard or treating it like a Dynavap it's not going to give you the same results.
Close off the the airflow on the stem, leave the airflow on the head open a crack, when you're inhaling, do it slower than you would on a Dynavap...
Been using the 12mm glass sleeve these last few days. Gets hot when chaining bowls, but it's ok up to 2/3, I get that won't be the same for everyone though. Those that find the titanium sleeve hot, will find this runs quite hot as well.
Taste is also a bit better than the titanium sleeve.
I run the air port on the stem open a crack or closed.
The airflow ports on the head, are also set quite narrow.
Play about with these things, if the bowl is heating up and you can't get vapor it's got to be down to airflow.
Check the manual linked above too.
I was more or less solely a...
I do this too. The stands have been altered/improved as well as the one I got the other day is quite different to the two I had previously. You can also fit one at the bottom, so the feet are on the same side as the buttons, then stand it vertically so the tempest sit horizontally. Works well...
That too, the workload must be heavy going.
I bet he's looking forward to getting the orders out so he can sit back and chill for a bit.
It'll be an awesome feeling knowing that it's all done, all that's left is for people to start enjoying them.
Just need to wait and see mate. Who knows what'll happen as the company grows.
Not an easy product to make and when your manufacturing is outsourced, your at their mercy, not the other way around.
Seen it happen with a range of bikes my work designed and sold years ago.
Not fun for those...
I had an IQ 2, was ok for what it was, but it's a sipper, great for really light users I think, innit the heaviest of users but it was still too whispy and light for me, it's like a diet vape.
Mine went wrong so I sent it back.
You'll love the tempest though. It rips.
I guess it's just getting to that time. Saw the email on Friday, but didn't expect the Saturday delivery.
I was surprised when I got a message about 12pm to say it would be here a few hours later.
The finish is great. You're going to love it.
My new tempest arrived yesterday. Along with every ball type and size. The black is very striking, very classy looking unit whether it's got the titanium or wooden sleeves on it.
I am well happy.
I assumed they were talking about the raw titanium as they said 'any more'.
I knew there wasn't/won't be a stainless steel version.
I've seen a lot of folk in the vape world refering to raw titanium finishes as SS for some reason.
