    Flower Mill

@FlowerMillJohn I’ll try the new rotor too, but I’m hoping I can get one of the new extra course discs along with it (I already bought the expansion pack). What would be the best way to make that happen?

    The Toad from Morwood

Yeah, the Firewood 7 has a retractable stem but there is a separate bowl on the bottom, the stem goes up the side and there’s a whole other ceramic piece and little glass tube between the bowl and the stem. I do like the FW7 (although I would refine a few things), but it is a fairly different...

    The Toad from Morwood

Blue, gray and/or green solids or gradients would be cool, and so would a lot of other colors! You talked about doing it before, and if you have time then painting little accents (or more expansive designs) on at least some of them would be cool. Since you’re doing all of the design yourself...

    Anyone own FW7 and TinyMight?

@Momor You may already know this, but you can use the thin end of the battery door to tamp the FW7, and you already have it off and ready to use when you load the bowl. :)

    TinyMight / TM 2

That used to be the *only* stealth setting. Someone here asked for vibration with no lights and that was added. If you ever use an early unit that hasn’t been updated it will only turn the vibration off. Turning the light off seems like a more useful stealth mode to me too though.

    Firewood Vaporizer

I’ve heard the beads tend to stick, so if you let it collect a bit of reclaim it should at least rattle less.

    TinyMight / TM 2

You’re heating any substance that’s in, on or near the heater, then you’re inhaling whatever that produces. Inspect and clean/burn off *every* vaporizer before using it.

    Dynavap VapCap

I press mine down lightly to keep it from touching the cap. It helps stop the top of the bowl from charring and improves airflow through the bowl I think.

It is really worth a good session vaporizer for active tasks in 2021?

@kokolokokolokon@gma The TM should be a great option for you, and so should the FW7 (which is not actually that hard to clean). The TM should be even easier, but I haven’t seen either be a big problem. Humidity could be more of an issue with wood, and it’s best not to get either one wet, but I...

    Firewood Vaporizer

@Shit Snacks had a lot of good advice despite not having used the WPA through water yet. In case it helps, here’s how I’m doing it. Fine grind up to the air holes around the top of the bowl and then packed down lightly. I do about the same with a j-hook or double matrix (the ones NewVape sold...

    Firewood Vaporizer

The thin adapter tube (which is just a short version of the original stem) is the problem here. You’d have to replace at least the ceramic piece it goes into to open up to the full airflow capacity of the dimpled stem, but in case you haven’t tried it yet the good news is the WPA is a lot more...

looking for a really good wax vape pen for traveling use

I’m not saying you won’t get a good answer here, and I hope someone can help you, but most people here are more interested in dry herb vaporizers so there’s not as much talk on the concentrate side. There are still plenty of people who might have good info for you, so I hope this bump gets one...

    Firewood Vaporizer

If you push the stem in too far, do the inner tube of the inception stem and the small adapter tube in the FW7 almost seal together? Are you finding it easy to avoid? It can definitely work, but with mine it seems like it needs to be carefully positioned and unless the parts are sticky with...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

@Zangano Cruel Thanks for the pics! I’d forgotten the top of the cap was so thin on the very early version. :) The first version with rounded sides was nice (as long as it didn’t stick when you took it apart), but since I only have one I think the late 2018 model. The issue with the dish fit...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

@Zangano Cruel If you were only talking about the very first VRod carb caps I think those may have all had straight holes. I’d have to look back through the thread to be sure on that point. Mine is a dedicated VRod cap (from about the time they added flats to the sides) that goes down over the...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I haven’t tried the mod, but I wouldn’t expect it to do much more than the carb cap (maybe even less) and it has some drawbacks, so if this is all you want the balls for I wouldn’t bother buying them at this point. Obviously someone had to try it though, because…balls?
