There were some with 14mm on the side but they've been out of stock for a while now so they may be discontinued

Cannabis Hardware do a fancy one from time to time
I use cork knockers in old ashtrays and am ever hopeful of buying a Moroccan style ashtray with a cork in the centre or something like a Kind Ash Cache for a reasonable price in Europe
Or there's a few nice looking options that caught my eye...
Nice  but I bet you need to wear shades to hit it
I usually add stainless steel mesh or foil around the bulb area to reduce the glare from my Halogen builds but that takes you further away from the all glass airpath you wanted, you could wrap it or make a cover for the outside tho.
New PID and cartridge heater arrived and this time they've sent me a 12mm heater
So I tentatively tested the 6.5mm killer heater in the new PID (after unplugging the PC 1st this time as it either took out the motherboard or power supply when it poppedthe PID) ..... which works OK :tup...

I think the real problem here is that it's too similar to the well reapected 7th floor vapes offerings already on the market and nothing new
Ceramic elements don't HAVE to glow to work by the way
I made a temp controlled log vape using the LSV heater cover and a 936D soldering iron that...
There's a good pic of the screws here
I think mine came set at 7mm altho the manual says 5-6mm and some say they prefer the tip of the heater protruding out as far as 11mm
The G43 takes 3 or 4 mins to heat up so you'll need to run it on an extension lead to avoid triggering the mod temperature protection.
I don't think a wooden body will work for that style vape as it's gonna get cooked
I think you're best off using a glass slide like...
I think it's a shame the LSV is being discontinued and isn't being redeveloped as a temp controlled log or something.
The LSV heater cover works really well with a temp controlled soldering iron element in a log vape config (in a cup), which would go some way to address the safety concerns of...
Have you tried torching the original screen? I find that helps with the taste
I like a second layer of fine mesh on top of that to catch fine particles too.
Another option is to use a glass honeycomb screen and a length of ecig wire like Simrel's Terp Torch screens (fold the wire and push it...
It was the 220V 6.5mm x 100mm version of the element by Topright on Aliexpress (see links above ^^)
And a cheap controller I bought from ebay, which I had been using for the last year with a few extra coils bought from dhgate.
Foolishly, as the Newvape and eBay controllers show EEEE on the...
Grrrrrr :cuss::mad:
Just received the element and it's instantly killed an enail controller
Swapped the fuses in the unit and the plug (and reset the rcd and all the clocks in the house) but it's definitely dead :( So it's turned out to be a bit more expensive than I planned and now I need yet...
To fill up to the top spike takes about 25 x 4mm or 60 x 3mm Ruby balls
There's not much between them but for me
The 3mm win with slightly better heat distribution, using 20 degrees F less than the 4mm to deliver a punchier hit with less delay time before it starts producing when you draw.
I...
To mod S&B brushes, a pencil sharpener will get you most of the way there
Then you can use some sandpaper to take the edge off it and make it look more like the one in the pic and less like a sharpened pencil
I was thinking more like a quartz weedeater with what I'm hoping is a heatshield around the coil as there's a few people waiting for something like that (and worried about accidents with the FP or Elev8r)
As we're stretching out standard 16mm coils for the E43 I wonder if the DeskPod's longer...
The balance on Sneaky Pete's sounds pretty similar to the Cane gun
I balance the Cane gun on two feet and the mouthpiece half the time as it's a lil more stable that way
I got a couple of these last month
https://blackleaf.eu/cane-gun-mouth-piece-clear
I would give it 3 thumbs up but I've only got 2 of them
And I haven't figured out how to remove the logo yet
