I haven’t compared them back to back and my issues are so variable it would be hard to compare them over a long period, plus when I have to use topicals I’m usually also taking some internally which changes the equation too. I think straight THC has helped me in the past though, and for quite a...
Sorry, I didn’t read the article…I was making a more general comment though that I think there is a lot more of a stigma against the word “marijuana” among older people than younger.
There are some people have a problem with the word due to its history, but I don’t think most young people care...
Here I recently bought rosin carts from a dispensary at $50-55 for 600mg… :disgust:
Like I said though, I have bought more standard carts for like $20-25, but I don’t know how cheap you can usually get one that’s trustworthy in illegal states. I just wouldn’t personally take the risk of it...
I know young people can seem like they’re looking for things to be offended by, but I think the stigma still attached to the word marijuana by older people (like my mom in her 60s) is the main issue here.
We were both taught how horrible and evil drugs like marijuana, LSD, cocaine and heroine...
Not sure what a “push cart” is…I’ve bought cartridges from dispensaries on sale for about that price, but they weren’t the best.
If you trust your friend and where they say they got it from it might be okay, but especially if you’re in an illegal state I’d be concerned about what might be in...
That sucks man. I’d probably be out at least as fast, but I do have a couple of questions.
If the coil was new, did you make sure it was clean and burn it off first? Same with the cup?
If everything was clean and the flaking was not just from installation (which I hope could be cleaned off...
I have to say the “multi piece setup” criticism doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. A FlowerPot (or InV 1.7, Cloud Connoisseur, Qaroma, etc.) is:
1. A pid controller and coil with a heater attached (basically one piece unless you decide to take it apart).
2. A bowl.
3. Glass of your choice...
It does, but the higher the temp the faster it seems to fall off for me. With a FlowerPot VRod at 555 (coil temp - actual air temp is much lower) I usually get at least half a dozen medium to long draws before flavor tips over to not-so-great in my opinion.
At high temps I just load less and...
Despite my concern that Dynavap’s tips may not hold as much as you’d want and don’t have the best flavor (at least for me), as you can see they have helped plenty of people switch when other things didn’t feel right.
If it seems like something you want to try, don’t take our criticisms as a...
A Heat Island log might be a good choice for you, and you could even come in under budget depending on which model you got. If you’re interested I’d ask @Alan directly what he has in stock right now. :)
His website is toasty-top.com
There’s also a thread for it here...
Thanks, it looks great! I’m surprised the sleeve is still so perfect, but I guess there’s a good chance mine will stay pretty pristine for a long time too.
My Toad on the other hand…of course I’ll try to keep it nice too, but it will probably spend more of its time out in a world full of hard...
A lot of good advice here! I agree convection and/or rosin are the way to go for flavor.
I do think VapCaps can be great for the right people, but while do I believe it’s possible I can’t seem to get consistently good flavor from them. Because you’re such a heavy user I don’t think they would...
With welding though, you’re not filling it with balls that can expand when heated. It’s also possible to have unseen flaws in a part that could cause it to fail.
I think with this type of design there’s always a chance of breakage, but I would expect it to happen early on or when you adjust...
@David Root Are you saying the B1 is better than the InV 1.7? You haven’t posted here before so I’m guessing you don’t have one yet…? :hmm:
If you do, please share some more thoughts on the differences!
CH makes some great stuff for sure, but taking almost all of the metal out of the housing...
These days Dan is putting a red dot on the side of the high heaters (or at least that’s the last thing I saw him say), but otherwise you might have to count the wraps or experiment to find out.
The high heater should hit the point where it starts to faintly glow faster if you heat it in the...
I’m glad to see they’re working on the coils. I had more hope for V2 when it was announced and I’m sorry to see so many people struggling with it, but knowing some people have managed to tame it I hope that VE will be able to find a configuration that works easily and constantly out of the box...
This is only anecdotal evidence, but normally I use small and infrequent doses which seem to negatively affect my short term memory and mental faculties in general.
When I take more and do it more often, I seem to build up a tolerance to those effects and I am much more able to function...
Always happy to see people trying to do good in the world, and it looks like you can make some nice stuff too! I don’t need anything today, but maybe soon. If you’re making a list I’d be happy to be on it. :)
…or maybe I do need one like that first pic right now…:sherlock:
I was also...
The good news is since I’ve stopped trying to max out I haven’t felt that in a long time. :)
If you continue to have problems I’d be interested in hearing what else it might be or any other updates, but I hope that easing up a bit will stop that for you.
