No I don't use the injector with the Shovelhead as the injector fits inside the Shovelhead and touches the herb With the 22mm and Shovelhead combo the balls are a little closer to the herb so you run it at a lower temp than an injector head and bowl combo, to achieve the same temp in the bowl.
