The vapman is very popular with hash devotees, though I have personally never had access to hash

@Vape_Or_Die420, just take care on Etsy that you are buying organic, and undyed hemp fiber, safest for vaping. Something like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/599204636/natural-brown-hemptopssliver-organic

@stark, I think the wood top on the alpine IH is real wood, it’s just heavily polyurethaned. I sanded that shit off because the finish was crappily applied, and just waxed it.

Sneaky Pete sold just the intercooler at first, but they’ve been out of stock for a long time

It’s (aristocrat stem) not a good seal with 14mm, even though it looks like it should be... question for assassin owners: do you use the intercooler AND a condenser, or just one or the other

If anyone was thinking about some glass stems, sneaky Pete is doing a deal until tomorrow where you buy an aristocrat and get a hula free. These are both very nice glass stems, and, bonus, also work with Fury Edge/POTV One/etc glass adapter...

The main thing the vortex has going for it is aesthetics—it’s a sleek, beautiful shape, and feels good to hold. I bought one last year, on sale, based on the hype, but find I don’t use It any more than any other stem. Whether the aesthetics are worth the price is a highly individual decision.

I agree. dont love the 20M with captive cap, but it’s awesome with a regular cap. And thanks @RTbar, gonna try 18M with captive cap

Is it dented? Sometimes a deep enough dent will prevent clicking. Also, it may need a deep clean. If resin has dripped down into the cap, it can sort of glue the clicking disks. There’s a dynavap “Snap” video that shows how to clean the cap with dish soap and water. Check out their YouTube channel

If you get the shorter 45mm one, then you need to use a mouthpiece with it to get it to the right length for a standard condenser. Standard condenser fits either a stem (62mm), or a body (45mm) plus mouthpiece (17mm).

Nice looking stem! If the condenser is pressfit, is there room for air to move through the airport and between the condenser and stem towards the tip? I can’t visualize it...

I gotta say, this Virgo can’t abide how dirty stems have to get to make this worthwhile. Much prefer frequent cleaning in reused everclear, until it’s a nice dark amber color, then put it into coffee directly. @Mr.Sifter, recently cleaned a cap with bartender’s friend, a soft cloth and elbow...

I don’t think so either. When I discovered that it was cheated towards the tip end, I understood why my omni would not close off 100% of the airport. Discovered the moveability by accident when cleaning once.

My Omni stem is a few years old. Here’s what I’ve discovered. The threaded barrel in the middle of the condenser that the mouthpiece screws onto can move a few mm on the condenser. Try unscrewing the mouthpiece and removing it, putting the mouthpiece end of the condenser on a firm surface...
