Let the material cure/dry a bit longer maybe?
How fresh is it? How long ago was it harvested?
Do you know the level of moisture in the material?
to keep even more debris out of my glass, i've been using the lids from my evo baskets, expanding the sides a little and inserting them them into bottom of glass bowls and adapters
After a Google hangouts call with GV, they're sending a replacement
Can't fault the level of service:rockon:
Massive thanks to Nerissa @ghostvapesofficial too
@ginolicious I don't stir and GV faq specifically says there should be no need
Hi @Summer it is still a little uneven, yeah.
This was some Sugar Black Rose put through the GR8TR and vaped on amber 3, with calibration on green
It seems great for low temp vaping but there's still some small partially uncooked bits.
Flavour seemed great until the end and it can really...
In all fairness, it is a bit better with the calibration on green, so maybe its working as it should.
I mean it definitely gets me high lol:leaf:
Well ghost seem to think my results look 'very' normal to them
However, they've asked I send the unit back to them to evaluate and see if it does have any issues.
This could take up to 7-14 business days, so basically 3 weeks :(
I bet they send it back saying there's nothing wrong lol
guess...
@stickstones I just meant put holes in the bits at the edges of the bottom and lid where it's just empty space.
I think if the bottom and lid were a fine mesh, it might be better for airflow through the load while keeping more debris from escaping at the same time.
Extending the mouthpiece and...
Using the calibration to reduce the temperature profile helped a little bit. Although I've set it back to default again for now as I experiment with a faster draw speed this morning.
Nerissa advised me to open a ticket with ghost on Friday, which I have done and kept it updated with my testing...
I definitely think it's helped a bit, thank you
The first amber level is giving lighter clouds now and the load does appear slightly lighter in colour after finishing on amber 3:
Thanks for the tip @Trulukkyphrank
I'm only using the amber levels now.
I only tried the first red light at the very beginning, but found it too hot and charring.
Since then I've been sticking with the first 3 amber lights
So, to calibrate it. It's in standby with all lights off. I just click...
Hi @MinnBobber, yes I've been keeping the lids and the bowls clean with a storz&bickel brush after every load and a quick wipe with an iso soaked tissue every now and then.
I've just taken the heatsink apart and reassembled it (after a quick wipe) and it still appears to be air tight by covering...
Thanks for the replies @Brewervapesalot and @martinstraka8282
It's honestly not packed at all.
The guide says up to 0.12g and I'm putting in less.
Have you seen the amount they put in in the video and how they tamp it down?
I don't do that, I just sprinkle it in to fill to near the top, no...
I've been having another play this morning.
Using a compton grinder for a medium grind and a gr8tr for fine.
Weighed out 0.1 grams and loaded the bowl. No tamping down, no overloading.
I extended the mouthpiece fully.
Started at the lowest setting (338F) for 2 draws
Level 2 (365F) for another...
Thanks @stickstones and @Razshiro
I've been keeping the stem quite low as I don't like how much its able to move when fully extended.
I think I've been using a fairly slow and steady draw. I'm drawing for the duration between buzzes and I'm not filling my lungs. I could easily keep pulling for...
