    Pocketable, stealthy, and not smelly

While I agree with you regarding the smell issue between convection and conduction @HughJass I think the TM being the "perfect" stealth portable is a stretch, or at least dependent on what you want out of a portable. If by "portable" you mean, "the vape I grab when traveling," then I agree its...

Yeah it just depends how they’re breaking up the upcharge. I know when I pmed some folks in the past about buying used items it was a case of, “oh, the $30 18650 just covers shipping and a small amount for my time.” I agree in principle, just commenting that if that is how the seller is...

I will have to ask him, but I think this is exactly what he identified as the issue!

    Pocketable, stealthy, and not smelly

It’s not that cleaning is inherently difficult, it’s that it’s required so frequently. I don’t own it so maybe my buddy is very picky or exaggerates, but his big knock on the pax was that he has to clean it after every other bowl.

It looks like it’s longer but narrower than the pax. Plenty pocketable for my needs. I believe the vapor pathway is ceramic, glass, and steel but I’m not 100%. I have a hard time believing that pax spent more time thinking about purity of air path given it’s designed to appeal to John q...

    Pocketable, stealthy, and not smelly

I don’t think anything will have no smell in use as others suggested. I want a similar vape for when I’m on the go and butane isn’t an option (at shows, kayaking, just places where I don’t have time to spin a dyna and torch the tip). I haven’t jumped yet as it’s not an urgent need, but it...

I don’t even think $500 is worth it for an acrylic, personally. The stems aren’t that much, and 18650s are $3-5 each. Generic wpas are even cheaper. I assume most people sell them in bundles because it’s easier to get rid of the lot that way, which is understandable. Obviously I’m just...

It’s worth having a look at the manual and playing around. You can use it lots of ways, and go nuts with customization if you know mods well and that is your bag. It’s far and away my most reached for vape! Edit: I don’t see the way to insert quotes in an edit in mobile, but that might be right...

Yeah that’s absurd. Weren’t the acrylic ones liken two hundred something in USD? @canadianvapelife i have to agree that the temp you’re using seems awfully low for all but terp hits, but to each their own. I mostly start around 365 F and push up by 5-10 degrees before finishing around 420-430...

Artisan Vapes... Novelty, Superior, or Douchebaggary? Discuss...

I tend to gravitate towards the artisan pieces for sure. The aesthetics are part of it, but I also really dig that its the work of a single craftsperson. Like, my dyna's are convenient, perfectly functional, fun to use, and effective, but my p80 is very clearly the product of someone trying to...

These responses are a little too much to hold my attention entirely atm ;). I did see a bit about joint packing, and I don't think it haaaaaaas to be super full. I used to pretty frequently straw suck a small amount into the glass-screened wpa to use with my sake bottle. I did not even give it a...

@666Honeybadger others have pointed out that there are alternatives to lamart’s stems if customs’ fees are so onerous. You would need to put your own screens inside to joint pack them. Joint packing isn’t a lot of users’ in this threads first choice, but I do it from time to time when I want a...

    Firewood Vaporizer

I guess I can’t throw stones because I know I get really anxious when I want something that’s limited, so I’ll instead say that some of you are a great reminder to me to be a little more chilled out 😂. Firewood isn’t amazon. It’s just one guy who probably gets a bazillion emails (and like most...

    Firewood Vaporizer

I think a lot of people dislike that the crafty and mighty have proprietary batteries (though I think there’s a tutorial to replace the crafty battery somewhere). I am of the opinion that 18650s should be treated with respect, but I’d much rather buy one than a proprietary battery that may or...

From lamart’s site the tank adds a nice bit of restriction. I actually find his other stems to be pretty wide open. Even the nub, which doesn’t look it, is pretty free flowing. The newer micro looks similar to the tank and might also add a bit of restriction, though? It doesn’t do much for...

    The Nomad From Morwood

No, you’re not missing anything. If you look through the thread you can see some of the design process and pictures of the units. The photos should make it evident they aren’t mass produced or something the maker knocks out in an hour—it’s one guy making them by hand. I’m sure Dan would be...

They (the mods of the new FE) should through up a how to guide and some of this stuff in the sidebar. It’s pretty barren after the old exchange. Without anything calling out the “no comments” bit I think a lot of sellers and buyers are confused.

    Tinymight 2 vs Firewood 8

Posting something a little more on topic, I think it comes down to what you like in a vape as to which is “better” op. The tm2 seems like incremental updates to a vape that already had a fantastic reputation in the vapor quality department. It doesn’t seem like anything there is fundamentally...

Ironically when I was looking to buy my first vape waaaaaaay back in like...2020 or maybe early 2021 I think you talked about the FW7 lol. I think on reddit or maybe here you made the connection between pourover coffee and what I might be into . At the time I thought a log would do the...
