I often hear sizzling or hissing sounds with most all carts I have made. Pretty sure it's just the rosin sizzling. My mod is showing 1.49 ohms at 10 watts so I think you are ok. Nothing more to adjust. Awesome that it is working at 7 watts. Keep us posted.
