Sounds like we are doing the same thing with our sunday @Stevenski. My EQ is heating up now. Going to pair it with the FC-UFO and whip mouth piece for some lazy vaping action :brow:
@kellya86 check out my post on the Arizer Solo thread. It will show you the power of the solo. I don't think it...
@Jethro I followed your lead and had a wake and bake this morning with the solo. A rare opertunity for me.
I was meant to be out four wheel driving this weekend but the trip was canceled due to heat. In metro Adelaide today it is 41 degrees celcious (106f) and would have been around 45 where we...
Those screens look cool but they might be too domed and reduce the bowl size to much for me. That might be a positive for someone else though.
I ordered my solo from puffitup too and I'm pretty sure that's where I got my extra screens from. I got the fine ones.
@Jethro if your screens are to...
Fuck yeah @Jethro!!! That should keep you amused for a while.
I love my pvhe gong. Before I put my SS screen in I form it into a dome shape. I place it in the gong with the dome facing up then press it in so it flattens out a bit and fits snug. This keeps a little gap between the underside of...
Good point @CuckFumbustion but it would be lots of pieces to carry with you? In that scenario I would use a vapor lung and the solo.
@kellya86 why do you want to use the eq away from home?
If you were camping you could get an inverter and run it from the cars battery.
I'm no battery expert...
Why not try an Extreme Q with the ddave mod kit? Its a great complement to the solo and you get the same great build quality.
Now all arizer needs to do now is build a light weight corded solo that can heat up to 230c. Like a log but with the solo ovens conduction heating.
I convinced my wife that I needed (read: really fucking wanted) a VS1 and she approved the purchase. Woohoo!
Paid today and now the waiting begins.
Edit: I dug this info up from page 118. Its a brief rundown on the VS1. I went looking because I was curious about the plug and the voltage. It...
Awesome news @vapman! I'm really happy for you.
I want one so bad but I don't know how I will explain the purchase either. The exchange rate adds 37% to the cost for me.
If I remember correctly Renè said he would send me a shirt with my next order so that I would look official in my position...
I never noticed that I tilt my stem. Right from the get go I've always held the solo in my hand with my pointer finger hooked around the stem. I did this because one of the first times I used it the stem stuck to my lip and I pulled it out.
I don't use a rubber o ring in my solo. I like that...
When I worked in kitchens I to had the heat proof fingers too. Nothing like pulling a tray out the oven with bare hands.
Now I've got builders hands that are banged up and covered in calluses so still mostly heat proof lol.
My EQ had been getting a little neglicted lately :( It lives in my...
My first EQ started to change the temp on me. I would have it set to 230 and it would jump to like 185 or 250. For a while I was blaming my mates, thinking they were playing funny buggers when I went into the house for drinks but then it started happening more often and when they weren't around...
Loving the thread at the moment! So much good info flowing through. My straightener arrived last week and I've had 3 small pressing sessions with it.
I'm getting the same yield as I was with butane which I'm stoked about, I haven't even started rehydrating my buds. Next week I'll get to...
Very excited for you @RUDE BOY and @KidFated.
I'm sure you two will have a lot of fun getting to know your HIs! Everytime I have mine out I always get lost in the grain of the wood and the quality of Alans work.
Keep us posted on how your JedHi training goes.
I think straight adapters would be preferred?
Most of us like to keep the vapor path as short as possible and making an arc with the whip is the easiest way to do it, which calls for a straight adapter into the water tool.
