Hey mate. I feel this to my core. I don't take these reports lightly so i made a post about it.
I guess this is the risk of publicly developing products and being open about it. If there are negative reports that come to me i will share them!
I can't replicate this issue or i would share my...
I imagine they would operate the same (ill test this), the plus is that you could submerge in iso /chuck in dishwasher and clean it no problems.
No no no! It's not something you have to do! This only applies if you have submerged your bearing in iso and washed the oil out. it's more of an...
Thankyou! I appreciate that. Instead of letting this get me down i will tackle it head on and make this product even better.
Also guys, they make PEEK bearings. (that's how good the stuff is)
PEEK BEARING
This could be offered as a retrofit if you guys have any concerns with your current...
Excellent photo! Thankyou.
Alrighty, I think any bearing would be fine if it was in conjunction with a post with a pressed in PEEK top section https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyether_ether_ketone would be absolutely ideal.
We machine peek for a lot of high demanding applications and it's quite...
I personally don't see this as a massive concern, the amount of residue is probably 0.1% compared to the safe limits of metal exposure. You would probably need to inhale the entire post to be a concern. Metal fabricators/ welders etc that are grinding/filing all day might be a different story...
I have purchased some ceramic bearings just now to test out. Thankyou for taking the risk and trying them in your grinder!
As part of me being open and honest with you all i need to share that i I have had some concerns from people regarding the bearing sliding on and off the post potentially...
I have had customers remove the top seal from the bearing and submerge in iso to clean. Just be aware, there is a chance of the balls in the bearing flash rusting if you let them get dry for too long without some kind of oil on them. I recommend putting a drop of avocado, olive, veg oil in the...

oh no! please DM me and ill fix this. I have some larger magnets here that you can press in securely. Or i can do it for you.
Please be assured you will recive the best grinder i can make. The design is staying with the press fit flush bearing. This way i can support all the grinders i have...
Yes, they will be listed seperately and an option to include at checkout. I will also list bearings seperate with the option to include spares in your order.
Thanks for all your help mate. I apreciate the videos you made for the community. i have shared the video with lots of customers.
While this certainly does work, This can damage the bearing and dent the race. I have had customers break ceramic bearings this way. Ideally it should be pressed in/out. A lot of my customers simply don't have the tools to do this and im having to support them from the other side of the world...
You know what? You're right!
I'm 90% leaning towards changing the design back to flush and design a simple press tool to get the bearing in and out easily.
All i need is for you guys to be able to remove and install bearings without fuss.
What do you all think about this?
I'll keep the...
It sure is a fine line.
Thanks! I like the feedback and ideas, I wont ever be offended by someone offering me suggestions / feedback. I want to make these the best i can for you guys.
I like your thinking and i thought the same.
I have tired and experimented with many different teeth combos.
Pointy teeth = super inconsistent grind and gummed up teeth
LesPlenty's grinder is operating perfectly as intended, If you guys look at the teeth design the inner and outer teeth are...
The change allows the user to remove the bearing without the need for a press. The tool is $10 from your local hardware shop.
I have had customers buy ceramic bearings etc and break them while trying to install them. I had to do something to fix this issue. It was costing me lots of time and...
