I usually keep it laying sideways and use a whip from my Herbalizer so I can avoid spilling. I have also used hemp fiber as @kidfated has described, which works awesome!

The tubo will 100% impress. I've said it before and it is just as true now as when I first said it, this thing puts my EVO to shame. Huge billowing clouds, no stir extraction for ground and whole nugs, and a nice portable form factor. It's almost unfair how great the tubo is

I like that idea. My bamboo is intact but I have gotten some off flavors and I think it stems from my roommate shoving a pipe cleaner down the bamboo while it was screaming hot. I feel like there's residue down there I can't get out.

I get what you're saying about a lower price with costs for each service but I think I would much rather pay more up front for a reliable device that doesn't require so many trips for servicing. I agree with you though that it'd probably make a bit more sense to charge more on the front end...

Can you list out what your criteria for portables are? Might be able to toss out some more suggestions. I find the tubo to be a pretty nice portable to pack around since it's really no bigger than a modbox.
