I've got both. The DBV is a great starter home unit. It's comparable in price and parts are relatively cheap and easy to repair. Still, I am partial to the Nano because I don't prefer whips or bulky units - which the DBV isn't really, but compared to the E-Nano it is. I give the flavour...

I don't want to deviate too much further into battery-talk-land, but I've found the Energizers to be perfectly useable batteries. I wonder what issues OF ran into... I've been using these for years when I need a local MFLB battery. In fact, I preferred the performance of them in a lot of ways...

I have to disagree with you here, OF. Energizer sells a 2300 mAh NiMH that'll work with the LB in pretty much every drug, convenience, and grocery store. At least in my neck of the woods.
