Yes, good point on price points. But if I recall correctly, both the Fury 2 and the Fierce were initially priced higher than they are now, and their pricing now feels more in line with their performance. I may just be sensitive to Kanthal. I did admit to being a flavor snob too. ;)

I hope the metallic taste fades because some of the hits I’m getting from the Ambit taste like hot garbage. I know I’m a flavor snob but this makes the Fury taste like a Firefly 2.

It says that on Vivant’s Ambit page but when you scroll down to the “What’s included in the box” section, it doesn’t list the WPA. I’m assuming it doesn’t come with one if retailers are getting stock of the WPAs for sale.
