I remember my rage when I first bought my Mighty. It comes with owning one of the S&B portables at first. It was definitely an eye opener for me after owning a Volcano for 10 years. It will get better.

My first Mighty unit came with a red o-ring. They changed to blue in around January 2015.

Someone on here reported getting a unit running 2.08. I haven't heard of anyone else getting 2.08 though.

What firmware version is your unit running?

I just drop mine in a small jar full of ISO in a warm water bath for 30 minutes. A quick rinse under water is all that is needed for mine then they are like new again.

Spirytus attracts alcohol tax in Australia where ISO doesn't. Spirytus costs $70 for 500ml as a result where 250ml ISO is $10. We originally got the bottles here with the instructions on the back for making it up as a cleaning fluid. They were changed soon after.
