I'll echo the other responses. Just went through this scenario yesterday myself and like yours it was stuck stuck. Thought I was doing something wrong but finally got it apart. That recessed o-ring of the cooling helix apparently needed some Dynawax to make things good.

So I went ahead and ordered two 20 packs of concentrate pads and the next day I realized I should have probably bought more pads for back-up supply. Went to order and of course they were out...............fast forward to today when my order arrived and what did I find? four 20 packs of pads...

Always enjoy the videos but since you don't use the debowler on the Tempest why keep it on as it only acts as a heat sink? I had mine on originally until it was pointed out by @Brenyo that it only pulls heat away from the thermal matrix.

Ditto to this. I had to go back to the photo I took of all the parts of the tempest taken apart laid out in order when I first got it to make sure I hadn't gone brain dead.

I get about half at best the number of heat ups from cold that you are with the stock batteries and stock zirconia balls. I mean, I'm not completely depleting the batteries, but when I put them in an external charger (Nitecore) there is only one bar left. Don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal...

I kinda know what you are saying, but as of the last drop all that's going to change is click discs that are calibrated correctly and the bowl screen being updated to better quality/fitment. Other than that, as far as I know of course, the Tempest is pretty much ready for prime time.

I've been putting some Blueberry Muffin Moonrocks in the Tempest sandwiched between flower. It's so tasty and worth the little extra cleaning required.

When I used the suggested 750 F/ 400 C setting on Wand with time out mode my AVB was real dark.....too dark for me. I've since lowered the temp, but try out the 750 F and decide for yourself.

Out of curiosity, and hopefully not redundant if you already answered it, but what are you considering low temp(s)? I've been hovering around the 600 F/ 315 C to 625 F/ 330 C range on the Wand and pretty happy.

That 25% more efficiency would obviously be nice but in the grand scheme of things not really that big of a deal or dealbreaker. I'm ok using a higher temp and probably charging the batteries more often. I've been very pleased so far with the Neo and Terp Surfer.
