A little off topic but I got my Labetkomp sleeve today. Fits perfecto and came with a leather loop for hot cap removal.

The threading is spiral so for the screen to be able to be screwed in it can't be rigid or it would bind. Pretty confident the screen design took this into account. Mine looks just like yours.

I won't disagree with you but doing a small dab with the 3DXL and vapor control set to XL results in one massive beautiful killer hit with nothing left over is something I really enjoy. My Proxy collects dust....the two just don't compare, for me at least.

I don't have it yet, but I have a Labetkomp Hybrid sleeve coming. It was made for Anvil XL and Omni etc. but will fit the Tempest perfectly.

The bottom of my insert, at least from looking at your picture, appears inserted further into the wand than yours. it is my attempt to keep the bowl from being heated by the IH and just have the Wand heat the Thermal Matrix. I'm not sure if this has an effect on the visual heat indicators this...

Not experiencing that with my Wand and I'm pretty sensitive/aware of odd or unusual odors.

I was clueless till I read the manual also....and there's also a tool for loading and shaping the CCD. It's a quick read so take a minute to read the manual at this link.

If you have the Reload Gen 2 unscrew the top lid that has the magnet on it and turn it over and you will see a recess area with two flat sides that will line up with the flat edges of the Thermal Matrix of the Tempest (part that has the visual indicators).

This temp is around where I have settled on after some trial runs, well, just slightly more at 650 F/344 C with the Wand in 'time out' mode. The 750 F/400 C was just too much and my AVB too dark for my liking/taste. The lower temp. has helped in this regard quite a bit.

It is a big deal. For both consumer confidence and S&B bottom line. I got on board the Crafty and Mighty since the day they were released and know for sure at some point I'll also own a Venty but this is a royal fuck-up on a new product roll out.

I strictly do solventless Rosin. I'm at 426 F and max. vapor control.
