I don't have any hex bits that small, but I don't think it would matter even if I opened it up. If the screw got sheared off, I can't find it anywhere. Surely I would hear it rattling around if it was still in there somewhere. And if it's in two pieces it's not going to be of much use anyway...

Actually, silicone is perfectly fine to soak in Isopropyl alcohol. I learned this myself when @pakalolo told me that once and I didn't believe him. So to prove him wrong I soaked an inch of silicone tubing in 99% iso for a week. It came out perfectly good as new. Moral of the story: Pak...
