My recommendation would be for a finer mesh screen to keep the particles out. Similar to your 3 screen idea but easier to manage!

@Boden A lot of us who have been here for some time have mostly stepped away from whip vaporizers. Mostly due to how smelly they get! Lol! All glass for me if I can get it with no or very minimal silicone in the air path. You also get wicked reclaim off glass!

I tried this the first time before settling on using an EQ basket. The rimless screen moved around too much, up and down, and when the distance changed the temp was not the same... With the EQ basket the load is always in the same location and the results are more consistent.

I have been using the shorter bent stem connected to my WT for the past few days. It also has a very fine mesh screen installed to keep the bits of herb out of the stem and WT. This causes lovely golden oil to build up inside the stem but due to the bend, it is almost impossible to scrape out...
