I kinda laugh at the talk of flavor being subpar/inferior. I'm not ribbing anyone, but only us vaporists would complain about the varying tastes of vaporizers. Remember when we were smoking and some strains tasted amazing?
@jvapman isn't it? Lots of people with smarts and experience...
I like both stems. I'll switch it up depending in my mood, but for out and about I like the straight stem. It fits tighter than the bent stem which moves around a bit.
Finally managed to go to another headshop that sold me 10 of the 1/2" stainless steel screens for 80 cents and a female-female...
I'm finding that I like finishing my sessions at 6 with a water path to get a solid extraction. Need to get a turbo stem soon...
Quick question: what level are you all using for cotton+oil ?
I'll take 5!
Quick switch up from my Solo, I find the extraction process to be much faster with the PA. I missed the ritual of shaking the trench! Now for some tea and reading :D
We've covered this a bit, there are two different caps that are slightly different in dimensions. Sand the o-ring down so it's thin enough to let the cap close.
Prolly like a half gram or so for the SR series. The KISS carts are load-as-you-go, so think dab-sized bits of oil. The standard carts can hold around .7 but split it up between a couple hundred hits or so. The standard carts are good for the runnier oils, if you have stuff like CO2 oil...
Yep. Some strains don't get as dark brown for me, but those aren't very common. I took a photo some pages back that showed fresh vs done material. Check it here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/arizer-solo.3833/page-893#post-519338
The oil jars come with the Ascent. The glass screens need to be purchased separately.
I think he uses it this way:
Add a small screen to the bottom of the bowl so material doesn't drop through.
Add .07g of flower (will cover the screen at this point).
Take an oil jar, and remove the black...
