I found that Sticky Brick screens work perfect. They are 5/8 in. screens. They stay in place very well. I have never stem packed because I feel like the vapor would be too hot and eat up my batteries. I'll give it a try tonight.
Wow, cool idea! It will also help cut the height down by utilizing a short MP instead of a long xl8r stems for cooling. The short MP's otherwise don't provide much cooling. Flavor yes, cooling no. The Grus looks like a shock baton with a splinter/z and a long MP attached lol it's tall. I have...
I really like that it's a DIY kit and is intended to be used with easy to find parts. I also like that the dimensions of the heat shield will be given out for other woodworkers and shops to stock them, allowing for customers to buy a regular kit and upgrade later if they want to. I will...
I have been on the hunt for wpa's as well, and yesterday Vgoodiez had a sale and sold out on their last wenge 19x19 wpa's (I was so disappointed), Looks like the only thing besides a universal wpa is this one I found from Ed...
Yeah I'm pretty handy. I work on all my vehicles and stuff like that but I'm not too keen on electronics besides the basics. I actually might have a set of star drivers. I'm not above taking the top off, do you perhaps have any links to instructions on the process?
Edit: checked/cleaned battery...
Does anyone know how to increase the max temp range? I find that the device works pretty well until I need to finish a bowl. The avb just stays very light brown/yellow. I can't even get it going with the TM dosing capsules, it just isn't hot enough. I have this issue with all my stems (Grav...
I just got a Precision Honeycomb and wow It's crazy smooth! It somehow still preserves a lot of flavor, too. Cleaning it has been easier than the rest of my glass as well. Overall I thought I was going to hate it because of all the filtration, but I really like it. Awesome on other vapes, too.
@CANtalk Thanks for the welcome and the new weekend experiment idea! I will report back with my findings. Unfortunately, the heat-shield doesn't glow :/ I am very happy to know that there are other new EVO users like @maremaresing. I had wanted an EVO for years so I am pretty happy to be here.
The Hydratube is from a Vaporblunt 2.0 (R.I.P) Glass kit that I got from Walmart.com for $30! I had gotten this tube like 6 months before I got an EVO and would use it with an Arizer EQ. It does great with or without water and it really easy to clean. I like it because it's tall and I don't have...
I have only had an EVO for a few weeks now, but I usually warm up to max temp and when I see the green light I switch it to my operating temp (I usually do 2 o'clock) load up an ELB and start inhaling until it turns green again. I find that after it hits max temp its still really cool because...
My setup! Have you all seen this heat-shield before? I just got an adapter piece in from VXL and in the packing slip it says "Valet Shipping for Repairs has begun contact support for more information". Looks like VapeXhale is stepping up their repair process. Anybody hear this yet?
Edit: Sorry...
